Hello!
I've been reall bad this week - I've hardly posted! Work has been particularly busy and the week just sped ahead.I didn't manage to pay my daily £1s, so I've just paid them all in one go.
I'm still on track with "Crushing My Credit Cards!!". I closed my Tesco Credit Card this week and the confirmation letter arrived yesterday. By the end of Feb I'm looking to clear the RBS card and then Capital One after that.
Hope you're all well - you are all sounding positive which is great.
Right I'm off to set up my list for the week! Speak later x0 -
Well done on closing the card! I'm hoping to have one of those letters for my Virgin card by the end of March. Have £1060 to clear on it so will aim for that...think end of February will be too much of an ask to clear that much.0

Morning!
Just paid my daily £1 - hoping to be back on track this week! I've also thrown £36 at my debt - it was some money my Mum had given me towards buying some shoes for the children. I'm really going to try and focus this week - I've started spending a bit here and a bit there and it's becoming a bit of a habit  I'm also getting nowhere with my weight loss and clearing out the study - if I don't pull my finger out the year would have whizzed by and I'll still be a blob this time next year!
Novagirl, how's little Harvey doing? Is he good? Hope he's growing big and strong
Off to catch up with some paperwork now.0 -
Hmm, I tend to leave my purse at home now if I know I don't NEED anything when I'm out ~ saves temptation then.
Weight loss ~ I need to shift last bit of baby weight so going to start doing my wii fit again starting from tomorrow. Off out this afternoon so can't start today!
Just popped on to update that I've paid my £1 too and to enter some more competitions.
He's not putting on weight at the moment...still being lazy..but he's active enough. He's getting weighed regularly now though and is feeding much better so things are looking up.
Swearing! ~ Our 2 year old has started swearing. I am mortified whenever she does it. I have turned into supernanny and started putting her on the 'naughty step' for 2 minutes. Think I might start a swear box so anyone that swears around her loses some money into the box. They might stop doing it so much then and so she won't pick it up. 2 year olds are like sponges.0 -
Oh dear novagirl- i'm afraid i'm one whe rso't careful enough around kids- i know its not funny but i am quite loud too so that doesn't help! I'd probably improve if i had to shell out money for it tho!
NDD ditto to all the above. Too much spending going on off plan. I'm fed up on not losing anything either but there has been a lot of eating out. I'm concerned about my £1 a day putting me off budget too things are soo tight but will go ahead until i can't. Have a nice day everyone.Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
Afternoon everyone. I've paid my £1 today but the account is looking rather bad at the moment. Have decided to sell my car, we have been coping with only one while I'm on maternity leave so the extra money wil come in handy. It won't make much but it'll be something0

Hi,
You've all been busy. Done my backdated PAD's. This month is going to be hard, which is mad as it's the shortest month in the year!
I'll pop in over the weekend as my brain is too frazzled to concentrate at the min.
LL xx£38,000 and change to £00 -
Hi
Where has this week gone? It's been so busy that I haven't managed my nightly fix of MSE since Sunday! I've just paid the backlog of daily £1s so at least I'm on track there.
Novagirl - great to hear Harvey's doing well. Love the swearing by your 2 year old! They are like sponges but the worst bit for me is when I can myself in the words and mannerisms of my daughter - it's so frightening!!
Ziggles - why don't you reduce the amount of the daily £1 - that way you'll keep up the habit but not break the bank. February seems to be tight for most of us - maybe it's the new January
LL - you sound as if you're having a manic time! Looks as if backdated payments are the "in" thing at the moment!
I'm travelling for work today and tomorrow so will catch up with you all over the weekend x0 -
Morning everyone! Have paid my £1 and done daily scratchcard and as well as now starting the competition page.
I'm now sat watching CBeebies ~ they have just put grapes on a pizza...might have to try that now!0
