Anything that has The Simpsons (specifically Homer) branding. Recently I've seen a Homer Simpson desktop crumb hoover, a Homer Simpson car polish and a Homer Simpson Kettle. I do like The Simpsons and merchandise related to the show I don't mind, but things like the above, I really don't get.Evian is naive spelt backwards...

Packs of ready chopped veg for stir-fries etc ie, a marketing man's flash of genius as to how to get rid of all the trimmings and misshapen bits left over in the veg processing factory AND charge a premium for them. This goes double for stringy old bits of cabbage stalks, btw.
These used to irk me too but I've recently heard a few people who have trouble with their hands, especially elderly people, saying they find them really helpful. so I'm willing to tolerate their existence :rotfl:
great thread btw....gave me a giggleespecially the FCUK post, I hate that brand, so childish. "ooh look, I *almost* said a rude word, how amusing"

Bottled water
I will never understand why people buy litres of the stuff when it comes out of the tap at home
I do agree mostly on this and I don't buy bottled water myself. But I have been to places where the tap water tastes awful. Maybe it's a hard water/soft water thing and it was just because it was different to my 'home water' that it was particularly unpleasantHaving said that, the tap water where I used to work was gross so I took a bottle of cheap squash to mix with it, sorted!

I'm not very good at succinct. Why say something in 10 words when 100 will do?
