Well I really came on to say a big thankyou to Haribo. I've made the carrot cake and it turned out lovely :T:T Every bit as nice as the one I used to buy from a patisserie near us, run by the loveliest French lady, whose daughters all had a speciality. Maman made the carrot cake herself
Shame they closed because they couldn't charge enough for their delights 
Anyway I did mess with the recipe a bit. Found a packet of pecans that were in dire need of being used, so I substituted the raisins and they've worked well. DS and DH have both pronounced it delicious And that's it OS wise from me. Had a lovely day just enjoying having DS3 home for a visit.
