  • Thanks Snow, I was so upset but I'd rather he died how he did rather than him having to have that dreaded needle. New year, fresh start now.

Had to get my tyres changed today :o I know, I know, they have been sat in my shed for ages but thought I should actually get them done before this second bout of snow. Cost me £40 to fit which isn't to bad, some places charge over the odds, plus they didn't scuff my wheels (think this is what has been putting me off all this time) Oops also went to Matalan today as my curiosity got the better of me and I NEEDED to see what was in the sale. I spent the grand total of £9.50 :T £4 for a pair of killer heels (literally killer, I will at least break a leg) but they are lovely. £1.50 for OHs slippers, a masher £2 (really needed a new one) and a 2010 rally car calendar for £1.50 Bargain!!!!!

Got OH to join in with the challenge so now has his own pot hehe... more for me come next Jan

Hi sorry about dj.xx Hope 2010 good for you.x
  • Hi BTD thanks, I think we have had our fair share of bad luck through 2009 so heres hoping. Hope you have a fab 2010 I will pop over to your diary and see how you are doing. xx

Went to Stapley Water Gardens today and nearly bought a dwarf hamster, so much for no more pets but it was adorable. Oh kind of talked me out of it, but hope to go back next week and get it if it's still there. Back in work tomorrow, I have been really fortunate to get 2 weeks off over xmas, tried to make the most of it though because I know from now on I will be working every christmas (if not christmas day then def new years eve/day oh the joy)

NSD today for me... does the £1 in £365 challenge class as a NSD? hope so or I will never have one!

  • Hey, not much to report today as I have been working, but had a NSD yay:jhave put £3 into my £365 tub though so that will last me until Weds. Had a draining day at work so I will be staying in tonight, double whammy of Coronation Street so I'm happy. Back in at 6am so I will be getting an early night anyway.

  • Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I am not in a good mood this morning. Been stuck on the motorway for 3 hours trying to get to work and had to turn around it was that bad... where the hell are the gritters? I heard that they have run out of grit..... shocking!!! I actually ended up facing the opposite way on the roundabout it's that bad!! Plus I need petrol (but now refuse to go back out) and to top it all off a warning light for my tyres has come on (this used to do it when I had a slow puncture in other tyre) I will just have to check the air in them when I eventually get back out. Not sure what to do about work tomorrow, another early start but if it's this bad not gonna risk it. Can I ask a question??? well I'm going to anyway... how is it that places get this kind of snow all the time and just cope with it, we get a bit and it's manic. Why arn't we more prepared? (It's ok I don't actually expect anyone to reply) RANT OVER!!!! :o

One positive thing for today is that it is now going to be a NSD :T oh and 1 more negative.... whilst sat in traffic I realised I am 30 next year noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo  damn traffic!!!! I'll cheer up soon... just give me an hour, hope you all have a better day than me.:D

Well I thought I could only get happier but work phoned tonight and I HAVE to be in work by 8am at the latest, it is crazy out there (I live in Manchester) and tonight all the snow we had is just going to freeze. Oh the joy!!

Enjoy your day off don't be playing out in the snow too much :D If the weather is that bad your DS school will prob be closed anyway won't it?

  • Evening one and all (or if noone reads this then just me ) I didn't make it to work today, struggled even getting the car of the drive so had to take of a rest day in lieu :( not dead happy with that as I can't help the weather conditions but I'd rather use that than risk killing myself. Back in tomorrow at 8.30am. Although it has not snowed today it has all turned to ice so still not great but I'll just take my time. Luckily the sun had been on my car all day so managed to go out and get some petrol as I desperatly needed it for the morning. So a £40 spend today.

This afternoon me and OH went to feed the ducks, there is a pond at the end of our road. I got mauled by them... ducks scare the life out of me  I know... I have issues!!
