  • I liked Jamie up till last week, it was a close call this week they were all good. I think Joe, Olly and Stacey in the final.

  • Hey, okay I have established that I am not counting on many NSDs this month with xmas on the horizon, bought some of OHs present yesterday can't say how much or what it is incase he stumbles upon this. But at least I have made a start and won't be rushing around last minute like last year :o Food shopping tonight and we are off to Morrisons to abuse all the great deals they have on at the moment. (Prob some xmas food shopping as I have the family round at mine every boxing day/night.)

X-factor produced another shocking result but have to say I'm happy for it, I would rather listen to Lloyd than look at Jamie's pathetic puppy dog eyes that he does at every available opportunity (Again, sorry to his fans) I'm a celebrity was going great until Katie Price arrived... grrrrr I can't stand her  okay now I know a lot of you will be asking "who does she like?" but I am generally a people person and find good qualities is MOST people but for gods sake... this 'woman' makes my blood boil. To the point that I switched the tele off and I don't think I'll be watching again until she has gone. I know this is my debt free diary so rant over :D

Back to the saving money... I don't know if I mentioned it but I quit my gym last month which saves me £30 a month, so I went for a run last night and even though it actually physically hurt me I feel great for it, so round 2 tomorrow :D I will be out on the bike on Sunday Snow!!

  • Well done on cancelling gym, we considered this but with the kids swimming it's cheaper to keep it.

I have nearly finished by xmas pressie shopping yay me :jI just have a few more bits to get then I'm done. The only downside is that it has all gone on my credit card :o so Dec pay will be paying that off!! See Snow I never mange to get this debt down.

Food shopping tonight oh joy.... lets see how much I end up spending as it's my turn. Sorry this a really boring entry but like I said I haven't been doing much.

  • Hi Guys, I am really slacking with this diary business :o I think it's because I have had so much money going out I don't want to depress myself by writing it. I have nearly finished my xmas shopping, thank the lord but I now have to fork out for 4 new tyres  I was going to wait until after xmas but I desperatly need them, even my best mate who's a traffic bobby said he would give me a ticket for one of them, and he wouldn't ticket me for anything!!!!! I have got some for £240 which is cheap considering. Still can't afford it at this time of the year though.

Hi Snow, I'll be over to your diary in a mo. and Hi MT good to have you back, How have you been? presuming very busy?? xx

  • December is a really hard month not to spend. This weather you do need good tyres so again annoying but essential. So dont be hard on yourself and keep posting!

  • Hi Guys,

    HAPPY NEW YEAR

I'm back and as you can probably tell I'm very motivated about this new year, so I am starting my diary up again. Firstly I'll get the sad news out of the way, DJ died on the 28th Dec so sad :( he seemed to have some sort of stroke on Christmas Eve and gradually got worse to the point of him being unable to use his front legs. On Monday we phoned the emergency vet (as it was BH) and they asked us to bring him in, OH took him to the vet and just passed away when in the car. Very weird him not being here but that's it no more pets for us.

Anyway, moving on. I have worked out my debts (spent quite a lot on my card over xmas) So now I owe my Mum £317 (from £2000) Dad £4350 (from 11000) Credit Card £1596 (was about £900 ) so.... For my debt to Mum I have a locked box that I put all my change in and what is left out of my wage, mum empties this around every payday and it seems to work well. Debt to Dad is £300 a month (this is for car) and as much as I can towards CC. I have now also joined the £365 in 365 days challenge. I have put £4 in which will tide me over until 4th Jan yay. Oh and I am also putting £60 a month away for America in Sept PHEW so much money going out!!!

New Years Resolutions.... I don't really believe in them but I am going to try to:-
Drink more water not sure how long this will last but I don't drink water and keep getting dehydrated so need to for my health.
Do all the overtime available but not where I will be living to work. (Think that's the right way round :o)
Get these damn debts down and stick with my challenge :D

Hope you have all had a fab christmas and new year  xx
