where to download avg free

Hi people where is a secure place to download avg the free edition im dubious sometimes looking at the options thrown up from google you never know who is the genuine company i looked at free.avg.com but wasnt sure if it was the real thing,please help

why would you want to download AVG anyway? You'd be much better off with Avira or Avast, if it's a free program you're after.

AVG is rubbish - Avira or Avast for free or Kaspersky or Eset if you pay.

Avira is the best of the 3. Get if from filehippo and stop being so worried about sites being secure.

I only resort to mirrors when the original is inaccessible. I also use WOT with Firefox to avoid dodgy websites.
