Im afraid to say that its new (slapped wrist for moneytroubles!) i did look at fixing it but then i thought I need something realiable for uni and this will keep me going now for a few years!
Well I hope I can still inspire you some way without my padding!
Im going to look into mortgages, I really wanna get out of mine but im half way through a 5 years fixed rate so think it is unlikely but the monthly payment is SO high, we got our mortgage right before the recession when interest was high!:j6 debts cleared since joining MSE:j:eek: Remaining debts... Dont blame you for getting realiable lap top will be worth it if sees you through all uni. You gave done so well since you started diary and this was essential so dont beat yourself up, its not like you are adding to debt willy nilly
Dont do mortgage i rent from housing assc and am happy with that. but good luck with looking into changing, as i understand it they will probably want huge exit fee so will not be worth while (but i hope this is not the case and you are able to change).
Sure i will still be inspired even if you dont PAD for a while, nice to read about someone else who is in debt for the long hall (been paying my by DMP since early 04, about 3 more years to go and feels like more i pay off more demanding they get - two have passed me to debt collectors  even though always made every payment and more than doubled this years monthly payments as gained a promotion)?

Morning all,
the very catalogue currently stands at £698, i have been trying to knock 100 a month off, but I am no where near that this month, due to do being offline, i have paid 11.05 and I will pay the requested minimum amount on friday which i think it something like that £35 and see how we get on with that!
honestly though I didnt realise how dependent on this site I was I think if I had been offline any longer I would have got myself into some sticky situations! I can feel things slipping now which I need to desperately pull back i.e. mortgage should have been paid on Sunday! I transferred the ebay money into my account so I had enough but stupid me didnt realise it will take a 2-3 days!! so....
I feel mad at myself cos im working part time, but i cant do any more hours than I already am, also im mad cos if we didnt have any debt we could afford to live on what we earn! but hey ho - one day things will be very different for us!
Also get my next installment of bursary and loan next month - which can not come quick enough! although my actual loan still hasnt be reviewed - its a nightmare!
Anyway best go and dry my hair before uni - speak soon xxx:j6 debts cleared since joining MSE:j:eek: Remaining debts... Very / Halifax Loan/ A&L / Virgin cc / Lloyds / Sister :smileyheaGetting Married 04.12.10 - The MSE way :smileyhea:dance: Making this house a home :dance:0 -
Lol uni was a nightmare for me luckily oh practically got me through it with his wage hence the debts lol well some of them. Debt is just a pain some people just don't have it. But I met someone who was getting payday loans and not making ends meet. Still pre lbm and I thought I might be in debt but I've had my lbm and I'm knocking it off one month at a time xI AM A MONEY MAGNET, THEY ARE MAKING MORE MONEY FOR ME AS WE SPEAK:pMIKES MOB, DFW NERD 1071, DFW LHS 132!MIRACLES HAPPEN I'VE SEEN IT WITH MY OWN EYES. I know what you mean happytogedebtfree - i notice people's "debts" so much now, like my friends for example just got a new kitchen which went over budget and some is on finance (not sure how much) then when I was there the other day they said, if we had 4 grand then we could pay the car off (that they just bought) and the same evening they opened a credit card bill, (i only recognised this as its the same as mine) and I wouldnt have noticed any of this pre lbm and I just wanna scream at them "dont do it!" but then its obviously not my place!
Also had some items on ebay end today thats another 49.62 - woohoo xxx:j6 debts cleared since joining MSE:j:eek: Remaining debts... Very / Halifax Loan/ A&L / Virgin cc / Lloyds / Sister :smileyheaGetting Married 04.12.10 - The MSE way :smileyhea:dance: Making this house a home :dance:0 -
