Is £1.50 p&p normal for a CD

  • I agree with soolin, and would leave lowered stars.

My p&p star is 4.9 - I automatically give a refund to the buyer if I am able to post cheaper at the post office . I only charge actual post, the packaging (anything new), and have happy repeat customers. Im not a business - just clearing out my clutter)

On Amazon, my cds have a lower start cost as the postage price is fixed by Amazon, but trully believe that additional costs in p&p on ebay are fee evasion.

I pack my items in the way that I would like to receive them, but have been astounded at some sellers packaging and overcharging. When you agree to the price on ebay, the price may initially seem fair, but its is ONLY when you receive the package that you see whether it is or not.

I actually wouldn't object to eBay making the whole site "free" P&P so long as they lowered their FV fees to compensate sellers (so yeah right, that's likely). It would probably make buyers happier (but only if eBay lowered their FV fees, otherwise prices would have to universally increase and/or eBay would lose sellers, which probably wouldn't make buyers happier).

I think it would be naive to think that eBay will not push free P&P across more categories, one for the extra revenue it brings, and two, because there are still plenty of people complaining about P&P charges.

The PR machine is well set up to highlight "free" postage, but as we all know, or at least the majority of us, it is simply included in the price.
