How do you propose they contact them? unless you know something we don't?
Your only post on this site . . .
Did you really join up to make just one post on this thread . . . ? How odd . . .
The adress or phone number that multiple people have quoted could help?0 -

could you please give these particular contact details that you claim are on this thread that you believe people should contact
was it you that had the contact details I posted removed?0 -
Well when I cancelled my mothers payments I googled the web address (nomoremarketing.com) and all of the correct details are on there.0

And no, I'm not even sure how to get other posts removed?!0

Found out this is (unfortunately) still ongoing!
Anti - Marketing Group have contaced an elderly family member of mine, told her they were from BT and that would she be interested in finding out information on a service they could provide to stop junk mail and cold callers. According to my family member she "hasnt provided them with bank details and at no point agreed to taking out the service, only asked for information on it" The letter that has arrived has a policy start date and a fee for £39.99 but on the terms and conditions this isnt a price plan that is available. Unsure as to if its possible to get her out of this as the policy start date was 26/07/12 but letter did not arrive until 19/07/12. Anyone got any ideas or anything that worked for them in order to cancel it? Unsure whether or not they hold her bank details as now that I have told her its something she shouldn't have signed up to she's very vague, so I believe she may have given these to them, under the impression that it was BT calling.0 -
Same experience as previous posts.
Got 3rd call from "the admin department" around 7.30 last night about sky maintance. Knew it was a scam as they had wrong address and was the third call in two months. Called them out about it and got into a heated debated. Hung up after telling them never to call again and swore after the caller started to get agressive. Got call today around 3pm offering to stop nuisance calls and mail. Made the connection straight away. Same script as already previous discussed by others. Clever scam - I can see how people fall for it.Boink_Boink wrote: »These people are still active, they just phoned me. I think there might be some merit in the idea that they are getting their prospects from the Sky maintenance scam - I'd only recently told them to F-off & never call again after the 10th or so call in a year. And even if not, I'm with the TPS, so by cold calling me they're breaking the law they claim they're trying to uphold. Whatever the truth is behind these people, that irony should be enough to put anyone off. At best, they are just asking for money to register you with TPS, a free service, as I for one do not believe their website claim that they "have arrangements in place with major players in the UK Marketing Industry, in order to ensure that our subscribers are constantly protected against Sales calls and Junk Mail". Sure you do. Anyway, that's my 1st post, hope it helps someone.0 -
We have had 3 phonecalls since yesterday (Indian accent) and claiming to be from B.T about our broadband usage. Very insistant. The 3rd call was from "the technical services dept" and when asked why our broadband provider was not getting in touch about this they hung up. I am looking forward to the next call as I have had enough of this carry on !!!Do a little kindness every day.;)0

We are TPS registered and ex-directory but are being bombarded with cold calls and scammers, so we've had to stop answering the phone.
My ansaphone message asks callers if they are dodgy or legitimate. If dodgy please hang up but if legitimate please leave a message.
Not an ideal solution, what else can we do? I have considered getting Tru Call, but that is expensive. I would just like a simple (cheap) system with black lists and white lists. Then if legitimate caller phones I push a button to put them on a white list. Dodgy callers get put on blacklist, and number withheld calls get the message asking if they are legitimate or dodgy etc...0 -
Well they are still active. Just had a (number withheld) call from a nicely spoken and articulate lady offering GUARANTEED protection from unwanted junk mail and calls. Told her we were already with TPS, MPS, opted out on Electoral roll. She was quick to respond with "but they don't work, do they?" adding their service would ensure there was nothing more. She wanted to confirm how many people over 16 lived here. Because they operate under Government legislation she said, their service was free but there is a small administration fee of £4 and asked me to confirm my postcode. When I asked her to repeat who she represented as she was herself an unsolicited caller, she aborted her pitch with a further "thank you goodbye".
What is worrying is that she sounded very plausible and I can easily believe people would sign up. But you would have given her your postcode, names and number of adults at the home, and credit or debit card details.
Be vigilant!0 -
ive just had a call from these people too and knew exactly where to look for info (you lot)
As other posters have said --- hang on they are unsolicited too. so if they block them does it then mean they cant call you LOL
I too have TPS etc and they said they are only a temporary stop and dont I watch watchdog
