  • I used to work for this company, unfortunately - hey, a jobs a job at the time!

They are breaking the law. They tell you all this jargon, get you to pay £3 a month or whatever it is now and then just sign you up to TPS, MPS etc.

The way they take payment also means it's incredibly hard to cancel the "direct debit".
They are not legislated in anyway.

If they ring you, just ask them if they are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority and that if they are not then by offering a financial service, not only are then in breach of that, they are also in breach of something called TCF - treating costomers fairly. Basically they haven't got a leg to stand on.

If they call you, hang up straight away and message the FSA in regards to the call and the company.

    Hope this helps :)

By no means is stopping cold calls a financial service. No point in taking it to the FSA

  • Perhaps not, but it's some jargon they won't have heard of before. I was there for nearly six months. I know the ins and outs of the company. They would never have heard of the FSA and it might actually put some fear into them.

By the way they used to have a read on here to see what people are saying. So.. Livvy, Lizzie, Tamara, Lauran, Kristen, Courtney, Danielle and everyone else... GET out while you can. There are much better jobs out their for you.

My previous point - if they call you, either tell them you're not interested or that under no circumstances will you give your details over the phone. If they do ask about DDs response by querying about the direct debit guarantee - they will try to say that they are "grade 2 affiliated with all the UK banks". This is bull. It doesn't mean anything but just sounds good to the customer, tries to put them at ease.
  • The mother-in-law signed up to this last year. Now we have become aware of it we want to get it cancelled! It appears they are taking regular payments by debit card, rather than direct debit.

Santander aren't being very helpful, saying they can't do anything as it's a guaranteed payment? I believe they said something about 30 days and getting a new card.

Any idea's how she can cancel these payments easily? She's not a fan of confrontation or speaking to these places on the phone.

They or similar are still at it with the addition that they are claiming to be calling on behalf of the TPS and can block foreign calls!

Hi I am trying to get in touch with the Anti-Marketing Group on behalf of my 90 year old Dad. He has been paying this company for years now but he still gets junk mail and cold calls. I have tried writing to them at their address in Norwich but the letter has been returned 'Addressee gone away'. I have tried telephoning them but there is an answerphone message. Does anyone know where this company is and how I can get in touch with them? Thanks

  • If any of you have a problem with the company don't you think it would be wise to just contact them and ask?

And as for the ex employee, you're just as bad if it's as much as a scam as you say it is. You did the exact same thing.

How do you propose they contact them? unless you know something we don't?

Your only post on this site . . .

Did you really join up to make just one post on this thread . . . ? How odd . . .

I posted contact details for the director of the company that are obtainable from Company House.

May be the moderator who decided (for some unexplained reason) to delete the post would like to post some contact details they find acceptable
