    Elfen, get your HC1 form in asap! Glad everything else is sorted though. I have to say, in my experience (and my family's) I think SFE are worse - the SLC lost my sisters birth certificate, and as they insist on original documents, she's not happy about that! At least the DWP accept photocopies. Now, SLC versus Leeds City Council is a tough one.

    How do I get a HC1 form?
    SFE lost my change of circumstances form and my identity declaration form. They also don't know why I've got a benefit confirmation form, when it says on my application I want the Special Support Grant (instead of Maintainence), so it doesn't mess up my money. Also, I found out today, THREE MONTHS after it being received, that they won't do my DSA assessment until my id check goes through, and God knows how long that'll take.
