Ames - If you've got outside space then go for a cat.....I'm not a dog lover and would hate to have to go out in the wind and the rain to walk one....cats just do what they need and then sleep on your head and keep you warm. :D:D

We've just done the DLA form for DH, quite amazing when you write it all down just how bad it all sounds...I suppose when you're just coping every day you forget just how much has changed. We'll send it off and see what they say.

Pooky, you're right about the DLA forms, they're horrendous. Just make sure you put all the info in all the boxes, using extra sheets if you need to, even if it means repeating yourself. Assume you're writing to a goldfish - they wont remember info from earlier in the form, and they wont know anything about the condition. Or have common sense.

I don't really have a garden as such, it's a small fenced off bit with a raised bed taking all the space. But I live in a square with grass in the middle, and grassy bits around. Quite a few of the neighbours have cats. Just had a thought, you don't have to pick up after a cat like a dog...

The only problem (and I know this is silly and shallow) is that I wouldn't want it going on my bed - I've got nice bedding and don't want claws playing with it! A dog I could just say no, a cat would probably ignore me, so I'd have to remember to shut the door.

I've just looked on facebook, Bookie he's gorgeous! Sammy, it looks as though Ryan is drawn as always screaming! Very cute though.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Bookie, glad you've got some money at long last. Gorgeous vid too :T

Sammy, glad you know where your keys are. I'd hate to be in your DH's shoes when he gets home. I think he's brave to admit it. If it was me, I think I'd have kept me gob shut and 'found them' somewhere at home :rotfl:

oops, just tried to talk to the kids, and the itch gaspy throat is obviously affecting me more than I thought. Cant talk

Stop lurking! I wondered where you'd gone...everything ok?

Bookie - yes what a gorgeous little man he is!

Sammy - I love the piccy, make sure you save it. My Dad saved all the pics my girls have done him over the years and scanned them into his pc to keep them....last year he printed them all off in a collage type thing to give back to them - they were chuffed.
