Casual sexism is not usually your thing, ISTL.

TBF Carol I make the breakfast in our house so I don't find making Breakfast sexist. :)
If there was a gender reference there it would be sexism;).

Now, if you had said P!ss *FF I would have not commented.:D

Believe me, I did not intend to be sexist.

If you said your husband stayed at home with the kids I would have said something like "time to wake up and get breakfast with your kids" or "time to wake up and get your husband to make the kids breakfast" (to keep the sexist slant you infer).

My point was that maybe you were dreaming of what you saw was happening in your previous post

I don't stay at home with the kids - I work. They go to school.

Funnily enough, my kids go to breakfast clubs most days, so neither me or my OH make their breakfast!

I just found your answer a little patronising, and whilst I take Really's point, doubt you would have phrased it that way to a male, self-employed poster.

Should add that my OH fully pulls his weight around the house and does more than his fair share - we'd live in very messy house, otherwise, as I loathe housework. :o

Amount of new property coming on the market = lots.

Amount of property selling = !!!!!! all.

Anyone else spotted this interesting seasonal trend?

any update or even something to back up this increasing trend apart from in Carol's mind?

Sorry carol, I thought you championed the not having two full time incomes in the family and that you backed this up as you preffered to spend time with the kids than working.

I did realise you worked part time, unless I've picked that up wrong from your many posts.

My point while patronising to you was meant to be a light hearted joke. Sorry you never got that this morning.
Maybe when you woke up from your dream this morning you got out of the wrong side of the bed ;)

Mypoint remains however, can you proove that you are seeing more sellers and less buyers.
    This contradicts all recent reports.

    Link would be nice ;)

[edit] P.S. As for you not believing I would make a similar comment to a male colleague, your right, I would never be sexist to a female but would be more likely with a male colleague. [/edit]

I have no intention of publicising the details of my area.

If you are implying I'm lying, I'll take that in the manner which it was intended - ie rude.

Can't really put any other spin on it.

No point in posting it then was there

Can't spin things you can;t back up in reality I think.

If you were to put your area, were hardly likely to know even the street let alone the house number are we?

I'm from Aberdeen, fancy popping round to one of my BTL's (if they were vacant) for a cuppa. You hardly know the adress now do you?

I don't understand why you give out so much information aboutyourself on a public forum, yet when someone asks a question based on the information you provide, you clam up and shout at that person for prying into your private life. Seems a bit inconsistent.

I know we all give out information (such as the fact that I bought in Hayes), but the least amount we give out and the less we divulge about our private lives the better, and we should divulge only what is relevent to the subject matter IMHO. Certainly, your breakfast arrangements have nothing whatsoever to do with the economy or house prices.

Apologies for butting in, I just recall you having a go at me when I asked about your private school. I said at the time that I'd remind you of it the next time you started to go on about yourself and your private life on the board. Here I am, and there it was. :)
