So you do less than your fair share and only work part time even though the kids are at school?

    Blimey.

Some people would call that slovenly or even lazy.
Not me though, as I know some of you women have to spend a lot of time making yourself beautiful....

    ;)

I agree - it's deeply unfair, isn't it. But as you don't live with me nor I with you, you needn't worry your pretty head about it. I do realise I'm lucky to have such a fab OH who puts up with it... :)

By the way, I don't spend a lot of time on beautifying - I think real beauty is a lot more than skin deep. Maybe your missus needs a bit more help than most?

LOL JB. Perhaps if carolt spent less time on here and more time with her family, her kids wouldn't be pushed out of the door to Breakfast Club in the wee small hours and her hubby wouldn't have to don his apron and headscalf to do the housework after a full days work. :)

LOL - OH in a headscarf and apron!

    You are funny, Harry.

If you had kids, you'd understand that in real families with kids, fathers play as important a role as mothers.

Have a good weekend and thanks for the good natured sport. :)

I'm sure I should be outraged and say it's just not fair to talk about my wife in such a manner but then I thought to myself I must be dreaming cos you would never make such a comment...... you said so yourself.

    What? You want evidence?

Actually no. My marriage and children are not things I wish to bring into discussion, in a comical vein, on a house price discussion forum. Sorry. I'm sure you wouldn't be happy if I posted rude stuff about your wife. It's not relevant and it's not even funny.

I know you write in jest; but TBH, one of your failings is sometimes, just sometimes, you don't know when to stop.

Good job you know when to stop eh carol?
It seems your standards are somewhat loose.

It does seem as if you're a hypocrite carol!

    Who would have thought it!

So do they really think a lender goes "the IR is 3% instead of 6% so you can borrow twice as much." and that borrows thin IR will never go up!

Thats exectly what the did in the last boom so, same again

Afterall they are still running the huge bonuses for bankers despite saying there would be changes. nothing has changed, same crooks in charge.
Toffs laying into the less well off? Surely not!! :naughty:

Oh come on, you just said I was 'slovenly' and suggested I needed to spend lots of time on beautifying.

    I merely 'returned the compliment'.

I'm sure you can cope with it and doubt your wife would really be horribly offended, either.

Wrong again you said you are slovenly.

Should add that my OH fully pulls his weight around the house and does more than his fair share - we'd live in very messy house, otherwise, as I loathe housework. :o

Fancy farming your adorable kids out to a breakfast club poor little mites must feel terribly unloved. God knows what effect this will have on them when they get older? I guess it might make them turn out like mum

Carol, are you an MP? Because I think Jonny just had you bang to rights and I don't see any kind of recognition of that in your post above!
