Solicitor married to my doctor - uncomfortable about using

    I'm a nurse and have to abide by confidentiality codes of conduct, and there have been lots of times where things have been difficult but you don't discuss ever! I wouldn't even give examples in case they could be recognised.

    This is my view exactly!

    Just to clear up any misunderstandings, there is no way I would consider making any complaints about this; as my original post says it just made me feel uncomfortable about using this solicitor. I was trying to assess whether this was a reasonable reaction or not.

    And to answer another post, I am a very infrequent visitor at the surgery (like I haven't seen my doctor for over 2 years which is about my average), so it's not as though I would be a memorable patient....

    It's interesting to read so many views on this, obviously there are some ethical issues here.

    And I have already decided not to use this solicitor!
