http://www.priceminister.co.uk/help/fv
Free: Listing an item on the site is free of charge, with no time limits or quantity restrictions. The commission is not added until you receive payment for your sale.
Commission
On PriceMinister, you can list an unlimited number of items for free.
PriceMinister will only take a commission when an item is sold.
Below is a description of how the PriceMinister commission is worked out:
CALCULATING THE COMMISSION:
Placing an item online : Unlimited and Free of charge.
The commission is made up of a variable amount calculated according the following price brackets:
- 1% (inc. tax) of all prices above £375.00
- 5% (inc. tax) of all prices between £225.00 and £375.00
- 10% (inc. tax) of all prices between £75.00 and £225.00
- 15% (inc. tax) of all prices below £75.00
And a fixed amount which depends on the price of sale:
- £0.30 (inc. tax) if the price is below £4.00
- £0.70 (inc. tax) if the price is between £4.00 and £8.00
- £1.00 (inc. tax) if the price is between £8.00 and £75.00
- £1.40 (inc. tax) if the price is above £75.00
In some cases, and in order to compensate sellers for additional delivery costs, PriceMinister also refunds the seller with a fixed amount corresponding to the type of item sold. This amount is shown when putting online the item.
In order to ensure that all sales are profitable, the price of an item cannot be less than 90p.
Please note that even if you decide not to sell your item in the end, you will not be charged for it as posting a listing online is free.0 -
Okay- 13 days on and it's not going well for me. I think as a buyer I'll give it a fairly wide berth. Out of 8 purchases 3 have been cancelled completely with no explaination, one took a week to send a knackered book, and one is still not here and I get this message when I try and report it missingThe seller began preparing the item for delivery 13 days ago. It is possible that he has forgotten to post the itemThis is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.0

As on ebay 50% of buyers dont bother to leave feedback, and if they didnt do it on this site, the seller wouldnt get paid!!0 -

Well I wont be selling there then. I can just about justify paypals 21 day hold for new sellers but that goes eventually but 6 weeks all the time! no way0 -
Any joy, Soolin ??
No, nothing yet. I'm still listing stuff though as I do on ebid all the time in case any buyers happen to stumble by. Sorry to revive an old thread, but I didn't see the need to create one just for my question.
I ordered something on the 29th from a seller on priceminister and haven't received anything or had contact from the seller at all, so I just wondered do people think it's too early to contact and ask where it is? Or should I leave it a few more days?
I don't want to seem pushy or anything, but I would have thought it would be here by now.0 -
It's always worth dropping the seller a line, I'm not sure how buyer protection works on Priceminster.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
