nursery cut our daughters hair, update on page 9

of course lopping 2 inches of someone's hair is fairly trivial and wouldn't be something one would necessarily go to court about. The attitude of the nursery was the real issue here.
1) they lied
2) they did neglect their duty of care
3) they used materials unfit for purpose (oil or solvent based paint)
This is what they went to court for. If they lie about something as obvious as a hair cut, what else are they lying about ? How often was their daughter given dairy products for example ? If they have a habit of using materials unfit for purpose what other things are they letting babies/toddlers play with ? Glue-sniffing maybe ?
I come from a country where we had proper scissors at nursery and used real hammers and we all survived, but we were supervised and if an accident happened (yes, I can confirm, toddlers do not finish a haircut and it is a rather chunky cut) our parents were told.0 -
How dreadful I hope they close it down, not a safe place for a child in any case if they are using toxic paints on or near childrens skin and when it didnt come out they cut it out, then lied. I would have taken my child out too, disgusting.0

To be fair there's no evidence and the OP hasn't suggested that they used toxic or non water based paint.0

Try you're not your, grammar not grammer, don't not dont [x2].
While you're at it have a try at a few capitals and the odd bit of punctuation......why not try the 'dot' button near the 'm' key and the Enter key [makes nice paragraphs [a paragraph is sort of a block of text]]?
HTH

It is officially classified as assault. But it's all been said on this thread before!"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." (Edmund Burke)

Don't go because of one sad git!! Report each PM to abuse and let them deal with it.
BFG, what the hell are you playing at? Why are you PMing people giving them grief over their spelling and grammar??
It's a bloody internet forum, not school.

BFG,
I would like to point out how much of a hypocrite you are. Take a look at the following posts by you:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=27443339&highlight=#post27443339 - No Capital letters used
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=27429375&highlight=#post27429375 - What word is 'coz'??
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=27267223&highlight=#post27267223 - A spelling mistake!!! God horror!!!
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=27214443&highlight=#post27214443 - Starting a sentence with no capital letter
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2097963&highlight - Capital letters again
This is only looking back 10 days. I think a phrase involving pot, kettle and black comes to mind!0 -
I must admit, I notice 'your' being used instead of you're etc. as much as BFG does, and I do also find it quite annoying.
But, as I have said elsewhere, I do tend not to point these things out because sometimes people have genuine problems with literacy.
And maybe some people are lazy and don't care, but we don't know which."All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." (Edmund Burke)
