hi carly69... have you tried the pampers and huggies club....also yorkshire tea....thinking about it...if you go on the freebie section.....a lot of the freebies also comes with money off coupons......what i tend to do is register my mother-in -law and my mother, so i get 3 lots of freebies and coupons, and i let them keep the freebies and i have the coupons.... but it is getting hard now, as i think i have signed up for most of them......
at the mo....it has been mentioned earlier in this thread... in tescos there is a bogof offer on chicargo pizzas which are £1.66... and at the back of the box there is 4 x 25p money off coupons... so for spending £1.66 you are getting 4 pizzas and £2.00 worth of money off coupons, so worth stocking up on them....while the offer is on......also watch the newspaper thread everyday as you get money off vouchers in them, but has been quiet for a few days there....
hope the above info helps......:beer:Work to live= not live to work0 -

Ahhhh! Have you sent off for the book ones? Also, go into your local Superdrug and pick up a pile of the Nice n Easy ones. Then go to Tesco & Asda and get some of this months free mags!
Once you know where to look you should accumulate more than you could possibly use!0 -
Hi Felicity,
Just want to say.....respect!!!! :T Great experiment, it's fun isn't it?
I went to a different (little) Tesco today in search of the free Maltesers mentioned in the Tesco Misprices Discussion thread....(Newbies - refer to that thread for details). Mission accomplished and a couple of £1 nappies vouchers accepted on a tiny shop of under a tenner.
Trouble is, now I don't enjoy shopping much anywhere else where you cannot use money-off coupons and gather points towards great rewards. Are you adding up your Clubcard points for the month for your experiment too? I have a pretty amazing £130-worth of vouchers accumulated in shopping alone since 1st May (multiply by 4 makes £520 so far towards my family's first holiday abroad in 2007).
I have bought some Tesco points coupons on eBay, as well as the usual money-off vouchers (our family has tried some different food/wine for a change, as I just have to use the points coupons sent out with the Food & wine Clubs). Can't wait for my Mum to get her computer up and running so she can register for the Tesco Clubs too...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi Welsh-Dragon, Can you get away with using the Quick Read vouchers at the self-scan checkouts, not that I've ever use one of those checkouts before, and I'm sure I'd end up drawing huge attention to myself not knowing what to do!!0 -
I bought some coupons/points vouchers on ebay so I'll be at the self scans tomorrow and Sunday, probably look out for a weekend staff checkout operator as well. If theres any prob at the self scan I'll just play dumb (not too difficult for me) and say I didn't know I couldn't use certain vouchers together.0

My mum tried for the first time to use a few vouchers with her shopping in tesco today but was refused any. She asked to speak to the manager who said that they have stopped coupons being used in their store as they have had a lot of people abusing the system and that only ONE voucher is allowed if the item isnt bought (think my mum tried 2 but both low values). I can see this policy stopping soon as people really are taking advantage. I use the odd voucher per week and see it as a bonus, but i wouldnt dream of handing over a huge pile because as others have said, i would rather this policy lasted years and allow me to use a few a week than abuse it and have the policy stop? This whole forum is about moneysaving and this is a great way but i can just imagine the number of disgruntled customers (including me!) if this policy got withdrawn.0

hi.. pinkie....i do agree with you on that, and would rather it last.. than have one big surge on the vouchers... even though i did have a blip this week and only paid £2.25 for a £57. odd shop... i think what the main problem is is not a national policy its up to the individual store manager how and if and how many vouchers he excepts...as there have been some stores that have never excepted money off vouchers,,,, one of the newer tescos near where i live i understand they will not take vouchers unless you have bought the product...
what area do you live? are there other stores within a traveling distance you can try ? as i have said in an earlier post.. when there is quite a few supermarkets in an area they tend to accpet more vouchers as they have a lot of compitition........and they want the turnover so they get they anual bonus..Work to live= not live to work0 -

In my honest opinion I think you went over the top paying £2.25 for a £57 shop. In one way I think you have guts. In another I think you are highlighting the situation and could cause problems for the rest of us. I'm not having a go - just asking you to think twice.
Take Care
