Both of my local Tescos are looking out for the uniball coupons, voiding the £4.50 and entering 50p manually! Managed to use a few before they noticed but I've been put off trying again. Have been reading these threads for a while and want to say thanks for all the tips, just registered today.0

I've had good fortune with my vouchers recently - I got £15 off a Sainsburys shop as I had 2 lots of their vouchers that overlapped datewise one for £10 off a £50 spend and one for £5 off
at Tescos I've used a Sainsbury's £5 off plus £12 of clubcard vouchers plus various 50p off or £1 off for items I haven't bought but which they stock
so in the last 2 weeks I saved £38 off 2 shops (of about £70 each):T0 -
Your £12 of Tesco Clubcard vouchers would have been worth up to £48 in Deals though....could you not find any Deals online that you wanted to get for your £12? Martin has written several articles on this site about this.
When I see people handing them over at the till I always want to say 'stop, never use Tesco Clubcard vouchers at the till!' (but I don't)....!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

My savings really depend on what vouchers I have, SAs vary so much and I have been testing the water as to when the best time is to shop etc ...... locally I have discovered it is definitely not 7am in the morning on the way to the office !
I've done the shop thinking ah well this will be free with my vouchers and then come across an SA or have been moved to a till where I know the SA will point blank refuse anything and then I have gone over my weekly budget.
It all depends, I reckon I could save alot more if I split it into several small shops but being a busy mum to 4 darlings as well as holding down a job and keeping the house together, oh and the mystery shopping, my time is very precious and I don't want to just pop to tescos all the time.
This week was a good example, ella2002 posted about her coupon use at probably the same store I was at, when I went to the till there my cashier would only scan one type of each health and beauty vouchers, so it's abit of a gamble.
Welshy xI am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL

toadyfrog wrote:Seeing where your from I guess it must have been Brent Park, I haven't read your thread yet but I will. I put through a load there on the S/S and used 2 £1.00 vouchers only to be shouted at by the assistant that I couldn't use that many and she would have to void them, which she did. So I stack up all my shopping back on the S/S and told her she could have the whole lot back, and walked out.
I don't know about you but I tend to find them very rude there but I continue going because Asda dont do a loyalty card.
I might change in the New YearThird time lucky on WW I hope :j

Yeah, Welshy and I share some of the same ideas when it comes to coupon-use! But the post wasn't by Welshy, it was by Justie (quoting Welshy) and she had used £12 of Clubcard vouchers at the till.
Justie, here's the link to the Tesco Clubcard Deals part of their website, you may need to register first but you can browse the Deals categories and areas of the Country listed on the left of the Tesco page, then narrow it down to Days Out, Holidays, Mag subscriptions, MFI, Goldsmiths or whatever you're interested in really:
http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/
To find Martin's articles on Tesco Clubcard, go to the top of this MSE page and choose to Search 'Main Site' for keywords such as 'Tesco Clubcard'. I'm sure you'll find Martin's info useful and maybe in February you'll get more for your vouchers!
