There's a "War" in my area between Tescos and Sainsburys so I got told I could use them in the nearest Sainsburys to Tescos. Not tried this though so no doubt when my first ever lot of vouchers come this will not be the case!!!:T Benjamin has won!!! Am soooo proud. Thank you to everyone who agreed my baby was the cutiest. Want to go round and hug everyone who voted, it means so much to me!:A0

Re: Quick-Read Coupons
- Local Tesco won't accept them now. Will Waitrose accept them? I have about 50! The nearest Waitrose is miles away - but willl they accept them all in one shop?sorry no links in signatures by site rules - Forum Team 20 -
Big sign up in ASDA Oadby this afternoon (don't think it was there last week as I noticed it straight away as I went in today) saying ASDA will accept Tesco vouchers. They had stopped this at my ASDA but it looks like they have started again.
Also, for the second week running, the SA has allowed the Unipen coupon from the November magazine to go through at the 'mistake' amount of £4.50 instead of 50p, so over the last two weeks I have got £9 off rather than the £1 I should have had.
It all helps towards Christmas!

I still have about 50 odd quick reads, tons of Asda and still a load of small sainsburys and newspaper ones - must start shopping before and after 10 - so avoid same shift -nice SA guy who is on till midnight always scans for me. I can't throw away all these coupons!!!!
Suppose high value items 3/4 in a £50 shop would be a good option then if they wont take coupons I can return goods. Who is up for a 'use those nearly OOD coupons' challenge??0 -
Miss_Money wrote:iknow i keep saying it but try to go to a young male cashier as for some reason they will scan anything. young and middle aged ladies are the worst imo for scanning coupons so i avoid them like the plauge!
I tried this trick on Christmas Eve when I had done my Christmas extras shopping, handed him my somerfield coupons and he said 'oh, I dont know what these are, I'll just check' then called his supervisorbut luckily he said I could use one. Quickly found the Five pound one - better than nothing.
The middle aged lady who served me yesterday wouldnt accept any0 -

Is it true that you can use your clubcard vouchers in Sainsbury's? Have read someone's signature that says this is the case. Thanks in advance
someone said they used the vouchers online then still used them at Sainsburys not something I'd risk myself.0 -
I was reading on another thread about Sainsburys taking Tesco vouchers.
When you get the Tesco vouchers eg £10 worth of coupons and convert them on-line into a deal, you will still have the original £10 coupon (even though it is not valid anymore with Tescos). The OP on the thread then used the £10 coupon at Sainsburys and it was accepted as money off.
So not only did they get £40 worth of deals but also £10 off at Sainsburys. Does anyone else do this ? I never shop at Sainsburys.
Sainsburys aren't going to redeem the voucher with tescos so I cannot see how it can be traced as already being used ?

I phoned sainsburys about this and there are a few selected stores nationwide who take the cc vouchers (sadly not one near me) you could call and see if one of your locals take them.0 -

Listen Annie - please do not encourage me anymoreLOL Welshy x
Actually it does sound like a great offer and if a local Sainsburys is willing to take them then moneysavers can save a fortune, by not only getting the tesco deals but also shaving money off their shopping bills too.
I have mystery shopped around the local Sainsburys area but never shopped in store maybe a fellow Cardiffian could advise if they have tried this ? I will also phone and find out too.
