  • Hiya Penyffordd - I have cleared my inbox and PM'd you - Welshy x
;) I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL ;)
  • I had alot of vouchers to use yesterday, not only money off but points too, so rather than hand over a wad of vouchers, I split it into 3 seperate transactions, had quite abit of money off at 3 seperate stores, gained 3,000 points and only paid £99 even though I had bought quite a few christmas presents etc.

Sometimes I just don't want to draw attention to myself so by going to 3 different tescos I felt alot happier using my vouchers. Also found a lovely bottle of champagne for my sister reduced from £20 to £9.99 and gained 200 points which is £8 back at MFI. (she'd just got married again and I was stumped for a present for her)

I've gone off waitrose now. They have been spying on me. They said i am strange coming in every saturday and paying in coupons! I think i may switch to tesco for coupons now! I have complained to their head office, as they make their rules up as they go along!!

i was quite excited last weekend, i was visiting outlaws in huntingdon and went to waitrose armed with a wallet full of moc's, spent £130 and handed over a small wad of moc's, sa seemed very flustered and said she couldnt accept any, she called a supervisor over who said none could be accepted unless they were sold in the shop( i had quite a few moc's for mags, books, quick reads, asda's and somerfield...)so only a measley £1 taken off my bill, so gutted, could have gone to mr t's nearby but thought i was on a sure winner after reading how good waitrose are for moc acceptance.....supervisor looked very snootily at me for trying to use moc's, just smiled back and said no problem, but crawled out, wont be going back again

    ooh, just realised...post 100

You're very brave Miss Money. I'm starting to get a bit paranoid in Tescoes now as I'm in there so much. I shop little and often, handing over just 4 or 5 vouchers at a time.
Always aim for £50 off my shopping a week though!! :j

I have only been concentrating on using coupons for the last couple of months and have been doing really well.

People on this site were really generous and I was sent a couple of Olay coupons and a fistful of Quick Read. Long since used I'm pleased to say. Also, have been able to return the favour by sending other coupons to MSEers.

Then came last month's Asda magazine!! Phew, they took a bit of shopping to use up. Also invested in a few Sainsbury magazines which I am working through now.

Watching this site I buy relevant weekly mags etc too.

Thanks for all the tips, I am now hooked.

Can anyone tell me where all the Quick Read coupons come from though? I've never seen them around.

Oh yes, I've used nearly £300 worth of coupons (inc free eye test) in approx 2 months. I've been on a bit of a mission though as I am buying stuff ready to move into a new place soon.

Thanks to every one for all the help I've had from everyone on here.
