However, I'd love to be bold enough to do a straw poll whilst at the cinema to get people there to stand up for the film they voted for - and see if the winner is the one we get to watch! The conspiracy theorist in me suspects VW may play their own part in proceedings!
I continue to pray for Top Gun (and have just found out the friend I'm taking has never seen it!!!)
But then it's a free night - with a goody bag - so will adopt a Positive Mental Attitude and have a great fun night however it turns out!!!!
It turned out it is Mamma Mia - so we came away - couldn't justify wasting an hour or so of my life watching that trash. And goody bag isn't actually that good! but still having a good night with a very good friend!0 -
Norwich was Mamma Mia:j
I did vote for it, not many people there though, I was suprised as it was free!
Loved another chance to see it on the big screen, fortunately my hubby likes the film as well!:rotfl:"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

Goal: Win a car (or cash to buy one)! -- Haha goal from when I was a student. Never actually won this but got a good job instead.
What I achieved:
Car paid in full straightaway.
Two properties fully paid. Wohhoooo!0 -

Went to Aberdeen - Showed Mamma Mia
Just over a hundred people there. We were all given a lucky ticket too. 5 prizes - 2 Wii's and 3 I-pod Shuffles. No winners in our party of 7 friends.
Goody bag, which is cotton, had a bag of Snack-a Jacks, packet of polos, a pen, Baileys Truffle choclate, Sachet of cappuccino and 50p off coupon, samples of Nivea DNAge, Nivea - My silhouette and 10ml pot of Nivea cream. An Osteocare chewable tablet too!!!!0 -
Showcase Teesside had Sex in The City, the goody bags were over the seats for you to get as you went in and there were quite a lot of empty seats. It was nice to see it again on the big screen:rotfl::rotfl:0
