i was going to go to Acton last night, but i would have been on my own. Never seen a single episode of SATC so glad I stayed in, in the warm.
Was a good night out tho and I do thank the OP but a little disappointed after reading other peoples experiences at other venues..What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0 -

Sat in our seats squirming for about half an hour (just to be polite) then left. Goody bag wasn't much cop but never turn your nose up at a freebie, I say. What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0 -
Where on your tickets did it say you were going to see Top Gun
On the back on the bottom. Also got an email saying it too. My boyfriend also got tickets to say he'd be seeing Sex and the city in Leamington spa......
The guy said he hadn't heard of anyone else having that on their tickets...and was very apologetic!0 -
It was Sex and the City shown at our local cinema. I wasn't pleased but my sister was as she hadn't seen it. They were over 30 minutes late in starting the film. We all got our pictures taken and were told they'd be put on their website.
We got our goody bags at the end of the film. It was one per person. Although some greedy people shoved through and tried to grab loads. We got a lovely cotton shopper bag (with VW POLO film experience on them), snack a jacks (berry), baileys truffles (1 even though the box said 2!), car air freshener, a blue biro (no branding etc just plain), Nivea DNAge sample, Nivea body cream, Nivea tin and a key ring.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0 -
We went to Broadstairs westwood cross last night and the film was Grease.
The cinema wasn't full the promotion guy said their were 174 tickets handed out for this cinema. There wasn't that many there.
When Grease came on the screen there were a lot of groans and just a few cheers and people started walking out. Through the film others walked out too so I guess it wasn't that popular.
I voted for 50 first dates but hearing the amount of groans I'm guessing not many voted for Grease but we'll never know.
Still it was a free night out and we got a reusable bag with a pack of tissues, nivea tin, snackajacks, pen, and 2 sample packs of cream.
Wonder who will win the trip to New York!0 -

LOL Small world I was there too(were the ones who left 30min into the movie), must say I was really disappointed it was "grease" thought it would be a great night out with hubby, I voted for Mamma Mia and like an idiot never read the terms and conditons of this special screening promotion, could kick myself now anyways we all live and learn:):rotfl:LOVE isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live WITHOUT0 -
I just love the fact that we can all chat about the bags and what was ahown across the nations cinemas. Reckon ole Volkswagen didn't bank on MSE to find em out!
cheeky cheeky- I wonder if a film did win overall in the end, or if it was a case of "put what ya want on guys, we're just gonna eat these delicious here truffles and pamper ourselves with the creams, and oh, there's not much to give away now so we stick in some biros and tissues.... fill it up a bit like....."0 -

The tale that unfolds is an unforgettable story about love in its myriad forms - first love, the love between parents and children - that demonstrates, as only a Nicholas Sparks novel can, the many ways that deeply felt relationships can break our hearts ...and heal them.
