Ring the cinema and ask, or if they won't tell you, you're gonna have to go along and keep your fingers crossed that it's something you want to see.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

took the OH to Vue worcester and we saw sex in the city - would have been useful to know beforehand it was a 15 as a mother and her young (10?) daughter walked out, but everyone else stayed and it was ok - even got extra bag on way out.0

Worcester?! I've been looking for freebies for cinemas in Worcester and never managed to spot any. Must be slacking!!! Was it recent?0 -

It was in the terms and conditions that the entrant and their guest both had to be over 18. I didn't realise that until I asked on this thread.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

Went to ours last night Vue in Acton. Overall a bit of a disappointment. The film was Sex And The City. As we went in and got our one goody bag handed to us and filled the competition form in we were told by the promo guy who asked us what we voted for. He said that he had been told Mamma Mia was the overall country winner but Sex And The City was the local winner. We told him we had heard Top Gun was overall winner.
There was no prize draws at our cinema. The screen was about a third full but looked like more cos ppl were all spread out.The guy on the way in asked us our names and had a 3 page long list of names. It was quite busy later - we got there quite early but a lot of ppl seemed to be getting the goody bag and filling the comp form in and going.(maybe he had told them too) About 15 people walked out but most came later during the film and only one couple behind us walked out as soon as the titles came on.
There was 2 girls next to us who walked out before it even came on.I found out later they had left a huge untouched tub of popcorn but my flatmate wouldnt let me take it home lol. The film was shown over 30 mins late - this may have allowed for why some ppl left before the end.
The goody bags were rather dire (tho lovely carriers)- consisting only of a pack of snack a jacks, tiny pack of tissues and a slim sachet of Nivea face cream - tho we did manage to get a few more on the way out.Sad to say we didnt seem to get the bumper packs given out at other cinemas. Flatamate said maybe the budgets had run out . I told him it was a 2 day only one time promo and most of the stuff in at other venues was costfree samples anyway. What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0 -
