HARIBO, It's full again. What's it like to be popular??

Oh for crying out loud. :rotfl:
Great news about your mum. :j
Lamewolf, that isn't weird at all but if I suggested it to my OH he'd probably suggest that we showed eachother pictures instead :rotfl:
And if anyone wants to know what Pink was like as a teenager just ask. :shhh::silenced::D
OH has taken the girlies for a walk and I have just watched the hens devour a huge tubs of shot radishes in 5 minutes flat. I am never going to achieve anything again if I don't stop staring at my hens..........0 -
....I can imagine how good the exhibition was floss. My DDs learn more by taking part in activities and actually getting to look at things than working purely from a book

We were lucky enough to have the exhibition when it left the V & A, it was a real coup for the town & our gallery, and I was an invigilator for several sessions, so got to know it very well  I can only just bear to listen to 'Baby Love' and could recite the first 2 minutes of MLK's speech by heart from listening to it for several 4-hour sessions!sunflower76 wrote: »Hi Floss,
I'm after anything at the moment. I've never worn a hat other than a wedding type so I have no idea what'll suit and what won't but I've just won a baker boy hat and I've my eye on some woolly berets and beanie types.
I will PM you

Gosh, this thread seems longer today than it has for a while! Have had to read intermitently, as my internet connection keeps disappearing.
Happy Birthday Mr Haribo. Am guessing I missed a post from you that has been discussed and since removed, as some of the comments don't make a lot of sense (but I'm sure they did at the time!).
Hugs to all those with moody teenagers! Am dreading my 2 getting to that age, they are currently nearly 12 and nearly 11.
Have been in mourning all weekend for the end of the coupon policy at tesco. Will now be os'ing a lot more, and having to stick to a grocery budget, something I haven't needed to do for the last 3 years thanks to coupons. Sure I can do it with help from this board, you're all fab!
Today I went to Milton Keynes and picked up my free £5 coupon from House of Fraser (but they don't have a home department to spend it in, so will have to go to Beatties in Northampton), then went to Ikea and donated 5 books to get my free £5 voucher from there, so all in all a good day.
Still feeling quite stressed about work, had a half hour in bed this afternoon reading a book. Could easily have fallen asleep, but just stopped myself! Made veggie sausage casserole for tea, DD has had hers early as she is swimming training tonight, I've just had a bowl, and DS is on his way home so can grab a bowl when he gets in.
Been a very mad mother, and quite often let the kids eat their food in front of the tv at teatime. Anyway, no more, as DD managed to somehow throw her bowl of casserole everywhere, and it splattered walls, sofa, cushions, floor, but somehow managed to land the right way up and hardly any was missing! So, back to eating at the table like they should do anyway!
Am being a bit spasmodic in posting, but am trying to read every day.0 -
Afternoon all
Back from work and not feeling too great at the moment. So, have not started anything OS yet, need a cup of tea first. Mealplan may have to change as I forgot to get the ham out of the freezer this morning
. WM & BM to go on asap and I want to start sorting out all the junk in the roof.
Anniestar - don't let such mean-spirited woman get you down. You were trying to be kind and helpful and are just the sort of person that makes this site what it is.
Molly41 & tru - hugs to you both. I'm sure it will get easier but sometimes it seems a long way ahead. My two girls are now 20 and nearly 18 and they definitely created some moments of worry over the years but now they are great company and seem very focussed. They still argue as sisters will though .
Day off tomorrow. Have got to take DD2's car in for MOT but no other plans at the moment.
Have a good evening everyone and (((hugs))) for those who need/want them.

Haribo - missed your first post but get the gist - some people are just so inadequate arnt they
rise above. Happy Birthday to Mr H .
Having such a ditsy day today - all this talk of chickens has led to me having that song Chick Chick CHicken in my head which is so not good. OH would have chickens tomorrow but is in our house covenent (sp) that we cant.
Went to Ikea after dropping lorry off, duly swapped books for voucher - found exactly what we needed paid & came out realising that we hadnt used our vouchers! duh  Anyway there is loads more stuff I want in there including Xmas wrap so will go back in again when next over the mechanics. Was too late for 99p breakfast so had some lovely meatballs.
Popped into Lakeside (was killing time) & Thorntons had some Xmas choccy half price so that is another couple of pressies bought - must start my Xmas pressie spreadsheet asap.
Havnt been in long so not too much os today, have done tesco online shop- will be something easy like omelettes for dinner tonight.

Don't let the ungrateful and stupid woman get you down. It is her loss and in more ways than one.
DD and I are back to normal and she apologised as soon as she got in the door.
DH and oldest DD had already eaten so the home made pea soup and Shepherds pie will save me cooking tomorrow.
Managed to take library books back and also got two loads of washing done so quite pleased."This site is addictive!"
