  • not sure if its mentioned but some sainsburys clothing does go up to a size 24 and even a bit larger I believe, for those of us on a budget and great when they have a 25% off (or sometimes 75% off) clothing sale.

    Hi,

Sorry if this is in the wrong place or if I have missed it, but does anyone know where I can get plus size clothes for kids, my 6yo son has a rather large tummy for his age, but if I get him the next sizes up they are too long.

    Thanks

I know it's a fiddly pain to do but could you take the trousers up? That hem it stuff is great no sewing involved at all & doesn't take too long to do. I'm in a similar situation with my dd , it's easier in summer when you can get the cropped trousers or shorts.

    Hi all

I have looked at the sites mentioned so far but have been unable to find what I am after, namely a cool, loose fitting, summer dress (or 2) with short sleeves in a size 30. I want dresses I can wear to work (I am a teacher) and look reasonably smart but keep cool in and I can't bear wearing polyester etc in hot weather (or any time really). Must have sleeves too!

I used to be able to buy something suitable from Adini (ethnic clothing company) but they no longer make them in my size. Their largest size is a 44-46" bust so if you are a size 20ish Adini is worth looking at.
Something like this in my size would be fab: https://www.adinionline.co.uk/products.php?product=PV6664-Kew-Print-Easy-Dress

Ambrose Wilson and other JD Williams stores do a 'fit and flare' dress which is one of my summer staples - the material is described as 'viscose' which I find very easy to wear.
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

Thanks very much for searching TB. Unfortunately the first one is out of stock in my size and the second is polyester but I really appreciate you trying. My search for a loose fitting, short sleeved, cotton summer dress in size 30 goes on!

Has anybody seen any baggy (below knee) denim shorts about (sz 26)? Think skater/rocker look rather than fitted! My old pair have worn out and i'm desperate to find some more!

Bonus points if you can find me any baggy jeans for £20, too ;)

Just to say, I ended up getting some baggy skater type jeans (£20 i think) and 'board'shorts (£27) from Evans as I got birthday vouchers  Thanks everyone for your help though :) (also, normally evans drives me up the wall, but I bought 6 of their basic tshirts (I wear them for work) today at 3 for £12, they are FAB, wear well and long!)

Thanks so much for this. I had some lovely Adini dresses years ago, when I was a slender young thing. I had no idea they were still in existence - and online too - bonus!
I could probably fit into their biggest size, so this is great news for me :j

I found your post strange, it may be good news for you and you are jumping up and down, but this is bad news for nenen and their other clients who are bigger than you!
