Just wondering if anyone has ordered from Curvety.com and can comment on their service? There is a lovely evening dress I have my eye on for my next cruise.

Just doscovered this thread, what a great idea, not had time to go through it all yet.

I like some of the tops from Yours, does anyone know if they are true to size. I am usually a 20 but sometimes 18 - just wondered if their things come up smaller or larger.

Thanks again for all the ideas.

I'm really struggling to find any maternity clothes in my size, i've tried simplybe and newnow but everything in my size has sold out. I don't need it just yet but i will need some soon. I'm looking for maternity jeans, none on ebay, eek
Just checked at Bonprix their stock seems a bit up & down but looks like they have some niceish bit's, only jeans in stock in all sizes are a cropped pair.I found these on ebay for you, with regard to jeans if you can't find anything it might be worth trying those jegging things like these, I've got a black pair from tesco & they are really soft like stretchy leggings rather than jeans & will look ok with a longer length top. Good luck with the pregnancy, take care.

On a separate note I am getting miffed with all evans top's being so short, surely they know a lot of larger size ladies would prefer longer length tops to skim over those lumps & bumps or is that just me??

That's so great, thanks a lot. Do you know if they get stock in frequently, I could spend a fortune on there.

Asda are bad too, their larger sizes seem larger width wise but no longer, I have a few of their vests I would only wear around the house under longer tops  It's not a good look.

    .
I don't know to be honest, I have used them a few times and there stuff is ok, maybe comes up smallish compared to say evans but not much in it. When I was pregnant I couldn't find anything, it's only the last few years that you can get some stuff so I just had to wear a bigger size & stretchy trousers.
    Booo!!!

I took the plunge and ordered the dress the day before yesterday. I opted for free 2nd class delivery. It just arrived and is absolutely fabulous! It fits like it was made to measure. :T
They also emailed a 15% discount code, valid for all orders over £50 until 30th April. but I notice the dresses are selling out fast, so I'm glad I got mine when I did.
The email doesn't say the code is only for individual use, so I'll post it here and hope it is useful for someone :)

Hi Newleaf, I seem to be alittle late, but I can recommend Curevty. I am 5ft11 and find it near impossible to get dresses to fit. You can get them big enough but its darned hard to get them both long enough and big enough! Curvety ship from the US and have a range of different lengths and go up to about a UK 30. I have bought five items from there so far and have loved each one, they cost a little more than the high street, but you know they are keepers. Enjoy your cruise x

Hi and Congratulations! I am a size 24 on the bottom half. When I was pregnant almost two years ago now I too found it very hard to find maternity clothing. But... I discovered JCPennys and Next's Yoga pants! If you are wanting comfort and lots of stretch the Yoga pants were a god send for me. A size 22 in the Yoga pants fit softly around my 24 bum and over my 10 pound baby bump! FABAROO. If you can still get them, do. I still wear mine for bumming around the house occasionally. Good Luck.

A little bit of feedback re this.
I'm a size 18/20 and recently bought both the Curve Controller from this season, and a Sassy Slip from last year in the end of season sale, for wearing under close fitting evening dresses.
The first irritation was that they both fasten up the back with about 15 hooks & eyes! This is not mentioned in the catalogue, so not apparent until you get the garment home. Don't even think about getting either of these if you live alone and are not either double jointed or on extremely friendly terms with either your neighbour or the post/ milkman. It also makes for a rather bulky back seam which is neither flattering under close fitting clothes, nor discreet - everyone will assume you are wearing a basque or corset. It rather defeats the aim of the game, I thought.
They are quite a struggle to get on - the slip was more difficult than the curve controller, in my opinion.
I found them both fairly effective at smoothing out the tummy, back & midriff bulges, but they were both extremely lacking in bust shape & support. A huge letdown. I could perhaps have bought a smaller back size, but this would have meant the garment was near impossible to get on & fasten.
Irritation no 2 - The Slip had a ridiculous jingly 'catbell' (yes, really) stitched in between the cups - irritating, gimmicky & cheap. I cut it off immediately.
And my final gripe, both garment and packaging (even the exterior postal pack) have his name scrawled all over them at every opportunity. What an ego he must have. And the postman will know what you've been ordering, even if you don't need his help to get it on.
Hi, I too have bought some of the Gok Wan items, and my goodness are you right about the packaging, it practically screams at you. The banger boosters(push up bras) just do not fit, I ordered 6 different sizes in the knowledge that sizes differ but none fit properly. On a lighter note the long leg tummy tucker pants are fab ... They do not roll up your legs and cover to above your waist(probably under bust on average height woman), they also have an open crotch(?) to allow you to stay cool x:D
