I found your post strange, it may be good news for you and you are jumping up and down, but this is bad news for nenen and their other clients who are bigger than you!
I find yours rather strange. I am thanking Nenen for her recommendation. Sorry if that's a problem for you. :(

No problem Terra ferma. I do wish Adini still had clothes to fit me but am very glad to be able to help one of my 'skinny' size 20 sisters! :D

I think size is relative anyway. I can still remember feeling I was enormous at size 20 in my teens and not being able to find clothes I liked... now I would be estatic to be size 20!

  • Where do shorter ladies shop, I am a size 20/22 and only 5'2" so everything I buy is too long. Just bought some T Shirts from M & S and have to scrunch them up a bit

I'm loving this thread! Finally, the manufacturers have realised that a lot of us girls are not "standard" sizes!

Having said that, I am having real trouble finding some jeans that fit properly. I had a pair from M&S years ago which fitted fabulously, unfortunately, I ripped one knee accidentally so they were consigned to the bin :(

I am looking for jeans which are a size 22, have side elastic on the waistband and which are not the stretch fabric and also need to be long length (33" or more).

The stretch ones cling in the wrong places and the waistband bags at the back which is not a good look. Also, I was forever pulling them up, even though I tried my usual size and the smaller size too!

I know, its a lot to ask for but if anyone can help I would be eternally grateful! I guess I am just the wrong shape for jeans!!

Angelicauk, Lands End do good jeans in bigger sizes & diferent lengths. Might be worth a look. 7% cashback on Quidco too ;)

Also an update on service from Curvety.com I've now had several items from them.
Up to now, I've been more than pleased with the service and kept all items bar two, one I exchanged for a larger size, and the turnaround was reasonably fast, and the other item I needed to return for a refund.
However, I was surprised and somewhat disappointed to be informed that my refund would be made within 14 days - rather a long time, I think.
Anyway, 14 days elapsed, and with no sign of my £135 refund, I emailed.
They replied saying they issued the refund to my credit card yesterday, ie on the 14th day, and tell me it may take another 3-5 days to show in my account. Not good enough. It has rather put me off ordering from them in case I need to return for a refund again.

I also sell lingerie for the fuller figured ladies. I am plus size myself and know how sizes range from store to store so i measure everything myself to make sure the sizing is right.

Evans have also been really good for the last year or so, they have lots of knee high boots (with wide calfs), and for summer have a large selection of wedges and gladiator sandals at the moment
