cheers for all the great "welcome back"s folks
I'd forgotten how much I love it on here, it is lovely to be back with my online family:D
Mudbath - was just thinking about you today and your wrist issues the other year and then your Dad with his sight problems this year and now I read your DS is poorly - massive massive hugs for you all , hope he is ok ((((hugs)))). I think about you most days actually as DD1 plays with her "Little Polly Pocket" stuff loads and loads and loads. She is the envy of all her friends because none of them have any of itDo you ever sit and enjoy your own work? OH is coming in late tonight so I have been sitting with the laptop, I just looked up and was shocked by the tidiness. I love my house now, it will be even better when the WM is out of the LR!
DH is back tomorrow from a week in the US and I know he will dump bits and pieces everywhere - bedroom, bathroom, front room, study, kitchen, hall ...... but at least for tonight its gorgeous! And whats more I have clean sheets on the bed and for once I will get into them first :T:rotfl:
pigpen - I am out of the loop . What are you studying ?
Jo - :rotfl::rotfl:loved the invisble Day-That_Shall_Not-Be-Named message (post 602 if anyone needs to read back) . No bah- humbugs from me.
All the talk of funeral hymns has reminded me that I keep meaning to do a life handbook, rather morbid but if anything ever happened to me my husband would be totally lost. He is not useless or anything just has no cloue about practicalities of running the house, I do all the paperwork etc and know where everything is. Even just silly things like he doesnt know what time they start school etc. Will add this to my list.
Argh its stupdiy late, off to bed
Night night

Mudbath honey, I'm so sorry your boy isn't recovering yet. Sending great big whopping vibes to you all. I and so many others here wish him well and hope they sort out his pain and the reason for it soon. xxxxxxxxx
Pigpen, the Boots in town, Prospect, has most of their stuff out now but they said there is more to come as they are relocating tills and then all stock will be out.
Theres an special evening where you spend £50 and get £12 back in points, I'll check tomorrow (I'm in bed now) but the KW one is on the 28th Oct I think, I'll be away then though.:D
I'm also busy :rudolf: shopping and want it done by end of November.:D Well done Jo for being so organised.
Just tidied the kitchen, put a DW load in and loaded the BM for tomorrow morning.
My brilliant DD1 has decorated the whole of the living room by herself, including most of the coving. It looks absolutely lovely and I'm really, really pleased and proud of her.:T:happyloveDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

More healing vibes for your DS Mudders - please make sure that you're taking care of yourself as well tho'
I've not long got back home from work and I'm just catching up with the thread and wondering why the hell there's a car parked outside my house with 3 or 4 people just sat in it - seems more than a bit suss as I live at the end of a cul-de-sac and they don't live in the street - think I stay up a bit later to make sure they're not up to no good.
Have got a one-to-one with personnel tomorrow to ask questions about the dissolution of our jobs and possible new job roles/redundancy - I'm just sick of it all now - we probably won't know definitely until the middle of Nov now and it's just getting ridiculous - I just need to know so I can stop living in limbo....
I WILL stay positive....and until then I've still got the painting of the remainder of the kitchen to look forward too - it's starting to look a lot cleaner and fresher now and I'm looking forward to shifting the detritis that has been slung everywhere else back into a better organised space.I'd rather be watching CSI!0 -
Cheeky barstools only walked onto our garden and were just about to pee up our hedge - needless to say, I've just yelled out of the window and they've now driven off - will have to check that they don't come back - they only turned up at about 1225 so they were out there for an hour - don't like it.... Soappie - maybe I need to get a BusterI'd rather be watching CSI!0

Morning ladies!
Jinky - BIG squishyto you honey xx
Mrs Chaos and cyclingyorkie - I think you are both incredibly patient and you both deserve medals putting up with MIA husbands for part of the year!
Toots - hugs and love hon, you are amazing.
Jill - welcome back!
Mudbath - huge healing vibes for your son
I missed posting yesterday for the same reason as last week actually. I ended up spending the night with my darling friend who lost her father last week. She needed someone, so my OH helped me get round there. She had a good long cry; then we drank hot chocolate and I painted her nails. The funeral is today at 2pm, so I am going to chat to Tris for an hour and then get back to bed. He is struggling badly right now so didn't want to skip talking to him two nights in a row.
So my lists today are empty apart from the obvious.
Feed the cat at least twiceemail R once I get home

Triker I loved your poem, it's made me think about doing a haiku for everyone.
Toots Bah to bloomin muscles not doing what they should!! (((hugs))) to you babes. My extra hours should start Wk Beg : 19th Oct. However, after yesterday.... I'm not sure I want it.Very difficult day.
I need to go and email my CEO with reference to a safeguarding issue yesterday. Sometimes my job is very sad, and I don't like it at all. Some of these kids are so young, you could just cry... anyway...
Moving on....
I'm going to have a nice day today! I'm going out for a pre-birthday lunch with my girlfriends, I'm really looking forward to it. My children are all sitting round me, while DD3 is doing a long distance run! :rotfl:
