Morning everyone, and I am amazed, and more than a little impressed with myself, that I am on day 5 of flylady! It has made such a difference to the house, even in such a small space of time, so I am definitely incentivised to carry on!

Today I have to take the children to Lancashire for a weekend's skiing as part of their school teams - it is the English Finals so they are all completely "up for it"........but I have to say that I am not particularly looking forward to the long drive this afternoon, it is about 6 hours from us so much coffee will be put in a flask to see me through!

    Before I go, I will do today's list though.......have a good day everyone x

[STRIKE]Empty and clean out a cupboard.. fling the stuff you don't need and put back neatly the stuff you do![/STRIKE]
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Spend half an hour doing something for YOURSELF!.. hair, nails or simply a bath!.. What did you do?[/STRIKE] Dyed my hair and did my eyebrows

Right I must get to work so I can take the little darlings to Blue Reef Aquarium (which is about 2 miles from my house but I have to drive 28 miles up to work so I can bring them all back down here!!!)

    Morning all

Oh Mudders - sending healing and painfree vibes to your DS and stress free vibes for you all.And whilst you may have wanted to lose that stone, you've done it to quickly my love - make sure you eat properly and look after yourself. The last thing you need is for you toget ill too

LIkkleg - how rude of the people. Did you get their reg number? Ahhh - Buster - what larks! It wasn't particularly good in the dark though. Hope your 'in limbo' gets resolved quickly it's hard not knowing, isn't it.

Diva - hope the funeral goes well today

My local radio station is having a "stress down friday" today where they're talking about ways of reducing stress so maybe we should all try and have a stress free day - or if we can't, work on ways of coping positively with that stress.

I have quite a busy day - I think. I have a meeting here this morning from 10-12 and then DS and DiL have the day off to sort out their new flat. I don't know when they're moving in yet which is a similar feeling to Likkleg's "in limbo" state.

DiL doesn't want to move in for ages she reckons (and she's the only one!) that it all needs decorating, recarpetting etc (which it doesn't!). She wants it to be 'perfect'. I despair sometimes. If it were me, I'd want to be in there NOW ~sigh~

Morning all, just having a quick catch up before the school run. Kitchen is coming along well, it is having a proper deep clean and all cupboards and drawers are being cleared out and I have done most of the other rooms to level one. I won't be doing much flying today as its my birthday today!! :j:j

Hypno - well done all all 5 days, very impressive

Mudbath - thinking of you hope you are ok

    Off for a catch up x x x x x x

  • Stress-down Friday sounds good - though I've got to study today for at least 4-5 hours (not sure if that counts as 'stress-down!). Am also going to try to get my bathroom star with a HHC or two at some point (probably lunchtime). Well - I'm on a roll now the l/r is done!

The list for Friday sounds great - I will at least try for:

Spend half an hour doing something for YOURSELF! :D

With love to all, especially Toots and Mudbath

does anyone know when the Boots christmas stuff will all be out? I like their 3-4-2 offers.. and need to clock up some points for next christmas now.. I had £120 this time last year! I have about £50 at the moment I think!

I was in there the other day and the woman behind the counter mentioned that they were already out. My purchase was £30 and she was desperate for me to use my points, she was disappointed when I said I was saving them for a certain festive date that I shall not mention (but the radio said 11 weeks today shhhhhhhhhhhhh). I went down the OS route, and will enjoy going to spend it soon.

A stress-free day...not the spare room...did you wait until mine was clean and I had done it a day early to leave it from the list?! That will teach me to get organised, oh well I don't need to clean today in a massive way as it is already done.
