Whoopsie.......trust me to upset our lovely BG. Sorry Pen Pen....but at the same time - Im not
xx (please all take this in the lighthearted manner it is intended)
I havent posted " Theres only 77 sleeps, 4 hours, 15 minutes & 42 seconds till Santa comes" which is absolutely true btw, although possibly will be less by the time i type this post, which also means you only have two more paydays (for those on a monthly salary) to do what you need to. I have in fact saved ALL of my more :snow_grin festive :rudolf: posts for more appropriate threads......it has only been mentioned because it does relate and impact my flying....unfortunately.
And thanks to the inspiration and support of the lovely ladies on this thread, including the "bah-humbug" club, for the first time in my life, my house will be clean and organised enough to enjoy it!! :T GO ME!!!!!!!
But yes, it is October and i will not say anything about it ever again.....

Hi all,
not much flying done today in this house. I managed one slightly extended HHC in the dining room, but then collapsed in a heap for the rest of the day, apart from making cups of tea and a meal for OH. DS2 is getting better, but we'll both be off again tomorrow.
Our German exchange student will spend the first couple of nights with another family, to give us time to recover, so I can start in DS1's room tomorrow. I've amended Friday's list accordingly, but it will take me to Sunday to get it done.
See you all tomorrow. Hugs to anyone not well.
MUST DOS BEFORE FRIDAY TEA TIME (NOW SOME TIME ON SUNDAY)
(bits in red are done)
1. clean the main bits of the bathroom, incl the floor
2. declutter and mop the kitchen floor
3. declutter a chair in the livingroomand wipe the fire place
4. tidy the dining room to the point where we can use it
5. clear my stuff out of DS1's room (it used to be our bedroom) and ideally finish painting the walls
6. declutter the floor and desk in DS2's room
7. dig out the home insurance documents and claim for the stuff in the freezer, if possiblenot worth it, due to high excess
8. get the freezer repaired (fingers crossed) – had to cancel repair man due to doctor’s appointments today, will phone again tomorrow and see when they can fit us in
9. write a list for DH to work through on his day off (Thursday) – he took DS2 out twice, so I’ll settle for that today. Most of the jobs that are left are not straightforward, anyway.
10. put clean and dry washing away
11. wipe freezer inside and out
12. clean walls, skirting and floor behind freezer
13. buy books for work (must be done on Wednesday)
