Do you ever sit and enjoy your own work? OH is coming in late tonight so I have been sitting with the laptop, I just looked up and was shocked by the tidiness. I love my house now, it will be even better when the WM is out of the LR!

    Hi all
Haven't had a chance to catch up, so wanted to send some hugs to anyone who needs one.

Have had a manic week and had to give my name as a witness to a minor car accident today....not a very nice thing to see, to be honest, and which gave me the shakes for a while. Nevermind, I left them to argue it out....I dare say they'll contact me in due course for a statement...

OH has suspected swine flu, so I've had to negotiate the system to get his Tamiflu (something our doctor doesn't think is necessary ). Hoping the rest of us don't get it - my biggest concern (beyond the children getting ill) is that if I have to take Tamiflu they can't guarantee how safe it will be to breastfeed DS. Difficult choice...

Having nursed the babies in here with Swine Flu then tamiflu isn't necessary.

These were dosed with day/night nurse just to keep the temp down and I kept giving them drinks but they slept for a couple of days and have a lingering cough!!

The children barely had mediocre cold symptoms, so for them it was definitely not worth the effort of ringing for the meds.

Play it by ear.. but unless he develops breathing difficulties and needs to go to the hospital then I'd not bother.

    Day/night nurse.. strepsils.. juice!

Thanks Pigpen. He's pretty rough at the moment, temperature and sore throat - also quite a cough. But, I'm pretty sure that if he takes it easy for a couple of days then he'll be OK.

Getting him to take any medicine is a bit of a trail...I don't think he's even taken paracetamol yet!

    Thanks for the advice!
