Just a flying visit - no flying done of course. We're still in hospital and DS is still very poorly. They're now concerned that there's another underlying problem with him. He's incredibly brave but the bouts of pain he's living through, now on a daily basis, is heartbreaking. He now has a breathing technique that would put most women in labour to shame! We're hoping for more tests tomorrow and i've just come home for the evening to sleep - DH is with him tonight.
LO6bigHug02HL2.gif for you all. It must be very worrying, but he is being so brave in dealing with it

Jinky - BIG squishy smileyhug.gifto you honey xx

maybe you aint so bad after all;):rotfl:
hope the funeral goes ok today

Love and hugs to Toots and L-L:A

morning all! it's horrible outside - drizzly yuk and i'm in a really CBA mood!, so won't be going for a friday run.
so i'm very relived to see that today's list doesn't look too bad, i've done bits of it already so hopefully won't take too long. funnily enough i'm quite keen to get to the bit on level 3 where it says Spend half an hour doing something for YOURSELF!.. hair, nails or simply a bath!. how exciting, to be given permission to do something for myself- now just got to decide what- probably should be wii fit, but we'll just have to see how the morning goes.

Have a good day everyone :)

DiL doesn't want to move in for ages she reckons (and she's the only one!) that it all needs decorating, recarpetting etc (which it doesn't!). She wants it to be 'perfect'. I despair sometimes. If it were me, I'd want to be in there NOW ~sigh~
Or to put it another way - it is you and you do want them to be in there NOW.

Just popping in for a catch-up.

Mudders - massive healing vibes for your DS and strength vibes for you.

toots - muscle strengthening vibes and please take care.

Diva - hope the day goes smoothly.

Pigpen - you are amazing - everything you have to deal with already and a uni course as well

MissH - can I ask - what are you studying? Can't remember if you have said.

Hugs to anyone I have missed.

Will now step away from the computer and do something constructive.

Kids off to school in fancy dress today for a fundraiser, apparently fairy princesses don't do coats even when it's cold:rolleyes:

Never got very much done yesterday as my Auntie bought my cousin a laptop and he came over to get it all set up. I went through starting up, getting on the internet and using his favourites, as typing a web address would be too much just now for him to take in with his disabilities, and closing down. When he got home he remembered all of it apart from shut down and gave me a call to take him through it. I'm really pleased with myself I wasn't sure if he would properly understand everything I was saying :j:j.

Huge list for me today and I need to phone Drs at 11 am. OH went to pick up my prescription yesterday and the girl on the desk looked at it took it away then changed the amount from 56 tablets to 14:mad: So I phoned up for a reason, got her name and asked when she qualified as a doctor and was told she is a qualified medical receptionist and I told her I have the same qualifications and I wouldn't have the knowledge to over rule a GP, to which I got silence ! So will complain to the Dr when I speak to her today.

Toots and Lady-L great big hugs
Mudders & DS vibes being sent your way. Mudders please eat honey you need your strength to help your son. Praying for you.
