    Hi :j
RE: Shoe collection - I haven't mentioned the boots and trainers as they are kept in the Room of Doom

Wednesday ~ Master bedroom and landing ALL DONE!!!!
    Level One

    [STRIKE]Declutter the floor
Strip wash and replace the bedding.. do not wait until you want to get in it!![/STRIKE]

    Level Two
[STRIKE]Vacuum floors[/STRIKE] and under the bed and behind the drawers
    [STRIKE]Dust and deweb
    Empty and clean out bins
    31 fling boogie![/STRIKE]
    easypeasy from the bedroom alone
    Level Three
    [STRIKE]Clear the floordrobe.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Sort through your cupboard and get rid of those items of clothing you no longer wear or need or are worn out.. memories are in your heart not in things you no longer use!![/STRIKE]packed another load of summer stuff away as I don't think it will be shorts weather for some time now. Small bag of stuff to charity shop.
[STRIKE]Declutter some of the stuff you have stashed under the bed, in the bottom of the wardrobe e.g.[/STRIKE]see previous posts. Have definitely done this. Several pairs of shoes have now gone. Those left were wiped over with a duster and NEATLY stored in the storage boxes (washed those out too!) DO NOT let me buy any more shoes.
    Extras
    1. Wash windows Done
    2. Wash curtains or other soft furnishings that need it Brushed curtains
    3. Straighten your shoe and bag collection.. can any be rehomed? See above re shoes; also took 5 bags to CS and cleaned the rest
    4. Sort through a box of general junk that is lurking going into RoD for HHshredding
I am now shattered but determined to do a bit more in RoD. Luckily (!) I had an early start so was able to get dailies done very early. This flying is hard!

Re Shoes - I've found several spare heels given away with some shoes - how do I fix them on?? Do I use pliers to get the old heel off and just hammer the new heels on?? Several pairs need re-heeling and I begrudge paying £7+ when the shoes probably only cost a fiver!

Oh, and further to my earlier confession about being a shoeaholic - when I was sorting them out I found 2 pairs of black shoes exactly the same and 2 pairs of brown shoes exactly the same - how bad am I?? I need help!

J (who is praying for no more fire alarms tonight!)

hmm Jassa hi. Was just on another thread where are they are talking about those kind of shoes and worse still knickers . I am sure that Vaklli will fill you in. If not just ask;)

Sorry got sidelines in my HHC earlier today(9.30!!) and have only really just sat back down,.

It doesn't sound like much but... I have cut two pieces of awkward plasterboard to cover up the electrics, tidies the living room as thought someone was coming round (but they have cancelled :(), sorted out some of the kick board(now got some kick board to clean) and after that gave the kitchen board a clean after all the dust. Also to little one out for a bit to eat :D

Hmmm really seemed like more when I was doing it. I have only had 1 :coffee: today too and that is very unusual for me.

Monday Madness ~ Living room, Hall and Stairs DONE!!!!!
    Level One
[STRIKE]Declutter the floors.. make the stairs safe and the hall clear
Vacuum said floors.. and up the stairs.. it looks so much better when you have clear stairs[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Wipe the sofas[/STRIKE] Hoovered them and turned all the seating cushions over, fluffing them up as I went
[STRIKE]Wash any soft furnishings that are in need[/STRIKE] I've taken down the big velvet curtain over the door because it doesn't quite reach the ground and I want to lengthen it; and I also want to divide it to make two curtains either side of the door because it's too big at the moment and traps in the door. I hoovered all the rest with the velvet pad attachment.
[STRIKE]Wipe the paintwork.. inc. the skirtings behind the sofas![/STRIKE] I don't have skirtings, but I did all the window frames
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Clear all the paperwork into a box or bag, clearing those cluttered surfaces[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]15 minutes filing.. from above box/bag if you just filled one! Elsewhere if you didn't![/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Dust and deweb those corners and mantel[/STRIKE] ... and fireplace
[STRIKE]Polish the electrical.. without blowing yourself up please![/STRIKE] Also the light switches and plug sockets as well as TV etc.

    Extras
    1. [STRIKE]Wipe the hand rails, banisters and spindles[/STRIKE]
    2. Clear and tidy up all the bags and coats and shoes
    3. [STRIKE]FIRES/BOILERS SERVICED, TEST RUN C/H TO CHECK IT IS OK BEFORE IT IS FREEZING AND GET THOSE CHIMNEYS SWEPT.. ESP. IF YOU BURN WOOD/PAPER AS IT STICKS TO CHIMNEY INNARDS![/STRIKE] Chimney sweep Monday
    4. [STRIKE]binbag dance.. get some decluttering done![/STRIKE]
Plus I've given the whole room a 'deep clean': dusted and polished all the furniture, got even more stains out of the carpet, washed the windows inside, polished the mirror and the piano (has a mirror-like black finish) and the whole room looks A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

It's such a shame I'm not going to let anyone use it ****ever again****, in case they get it messy....:rotfl:

Thanks for all the support: couldn't have done it without you guys.

Please can I have a star?

Operation empty water butt has commenced as it is pouring here again and the butt is nearly full and I don't need a flood today.
    .

Hope your rain stops and you don't flood Dusty - we have torrents here too which is making the varnish take ages to dry. I've just been v. profligate and flung both the back door and the patio door wide open and put the heating on in an attempt to dry it quickly - I did the three right by the entrance to the living room door. Poor animals are having to cross their legs at the moment...

Afternoon all, pouring here too. I did a small load of washing and dried some before the rain started so there's only a couple of bits hung up indoors. Deliberately left the bedding to do tomorrow when it's supposed to be better.

    All the bedrooms are done.

Well done Soapie's DS on completion and a curtsey for Queen Victoria, Dusty (daren't hug her!).

I haven't introduced DH to the concept of flying and the lists yet, but I think he's noticing the difference (and he keeps glancing suspiciously at the laptop when I'm catching up with the thread). He does almost all the ironing for us four and helps with DS2 a little, but does virtually nothing else. Considering that we both work (and I do a fair bit extra in the evenings), it's not a bad deal for him.

Since he's got no ironing left for tomorrow (his day off), I might leave him the list... ;)[/QUOTE]

I would definitely leave the list for him and let him choose what to do but with a note saying ironing needs to be done. My DH often finds lists I have left for me to do and he does them!! Sometimes it is something I wanted to do but I won't put him off by telling.

He is asleep right now. I think the dog walk was a bit too much.
