Woke up today at the normal working day time . The reason probably is that I have invited DD's friend and her mum around and I need to make some effort to tidy the house. So one load of washing has been hung up (the one that I should have done last night
) and another one is on the way.
I have been thinking about my challenge that I set to myself a while back. Having it all on the spreadsheet on the computer is not working at the moment. It needs to be more visual and more detailed. MG said that she has mind mapped her days what she needs to do. I think that is tad bit too ambitious for me to be able to plan that much ahead (lots of opportunities to open the door for the BD due to beating myself over not achieving it). However what I am going to do is to make a mind map of all the headings and print out several. That way I can always in the evening fill one in for the following day.
I have 10 headings, the 9 challenges listed here earlier plus "make your heart sing" one. I am hoping that this finally gets the frogs in order. At the moment they are having a party and splashing all over the place."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Ooh I do love MSE :j I got a nasty virus on my computer and search in MSE forums and voila a link was found that provided the solution. My computer is now recovered. AND I got my MS office upgrade today but unfortunately this evening has gone to virus busting so I didn't have time to install it.
Diet is going great, weight is coming off, work easing off a bit except today was spent unexpectedtly sorting out some Swedish corporate tax accruals. In the end I managed to figure it out.
I am reading ebay for dummies and getting very positive about my ability to sell all the stuff that is hanging around here. Most importantly the books.
However I have treated myself with a novel that I downloaded on K1ndle. I haven't read fiction for ages and it was so nice to read it while DD was on her swimming lesson today. (Yes I covered back of it with a towel to stop splashes from the pool to get to it.) So it is not all study stuff except I do have a line up of rather heavy looking IT books here as well waiting to be studied.
Ex was utter prat on Saturday, I had a rant about it in the Matrix thread so won't repeat it here. I sent him email yesterday and forwarded it to cafcass.
Had appointment for DD to see pediatric continence nurse. DD is now really on the board of drinking more which is great. She also volunteered today to give wee sample so I didn't have to argue about it with her, dropped if off to the surgery in the morning and as I haven't heard from them it should be all clear. Now I just need to get some cups that I can use as a measure as during next five weeks I need to few times measure how much she wees. If it is less than it should then the drinking needs to be upped again. So I am going to raid Mr S for some disposable cups for that little task.
Wimbledon has started - WOOHOO! I love it. And so far I am able to multitask and watch and stitch at the same time. However when we get to the second week I think the stitching can have a break.
It is ridiculously late for me so off to bed."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Today I really do have that lost in the middle feeling. Woke up a bit groggy and was struggling with my mood in the morning. I did manage to turn it around and the day was ok however I am getting irritated and tired, both warning signs that things are not right.
Also I have now child care problem for the August bank holiday week and the following Monday. I need to find a holiday club that is open or a child minder that is working and has space. Or I beg BF to help me but 5 days is a big ask.
My great enthusiasm about learning more about computer stuff has come to a halt. I am so upset about it. It seems that the operating system on my computer is not the right one for me to upload upgrade for the office package. I would need to get new operating system (cost around £80.-) and also move all the stuff from the computer away while downloading new operating system and then moving it all back again (including reinstalling all the software). Pah!
I am now downloading one upgrade for the operating system but I don't have high hopes that it is going to work.
This computer is BF's anyway, I would so like to have a my own new laptop (I don't think my old one can be resurrected) but simply can't justify the cost. This month is expensive as it is, I need to pay 3 weeks of holiday clubs, might need to start paying to the solicitor etc. Oh and I need to pay my share of the holiday trip we are going to do.
So task for tomorrow (instead of trying to get this computer to work) is to count the money and pay all of those things.
Very tired now so taking fleabay for dummies to bed with me."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Sorry to hear about computer Marru.
Have you looked at refurbished laptops? They are cheaper than normal ones, and you may find one of a high enough spec for you.0 -
Lurker delurking for a minute:
Your childcare issue for August - when does DD go back to school. Where I am, we have the bank holiday Monday and then they are back to school on ether the Thursday or the Friday (inset day depending!!!). Have a word with DDs school as they may know of some childminders - our school holds a list of all the childminders that go to the school.

Well done on picking out spuddy cat and hope your having a good day.£71.93/ £180.000

dangers - thanks for that. Yes I need to keep the phone hot tomorrow on my lunch break.
Boultdj - she is adorable. I will put a picture here when it is all confirmed.
We went to a Finnish midsummer party yesterday. It was really lovely. They actually had a proper Finnish sauna and it was wonderful. DD had such a good time I hardly saw her. It was good but I was rather tired afterwards. Watched the rest of the tennis match and Today at Wimbledon and was ready for bed before news.
Today it has been so hot that I promised DD to put up her paddling pool. However I didn't have a pump to pump it up. Quick dash to Arg0s and it was sorted. In between her paddles we went to the local rescue centre and yes, I have now reserved a cat. I am now waiting for a home visit and for everything to be completed.
I have a chicken in the oven so better go and check if it is ready so that I can feed the hungry person."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Cat is coming tomorrow. :j
I have cat litter, litter trays, toys, borrowed carrier, borrowed poop scoop, given cat bed and couple of hidey thingys and scratching thingy. Got food and rescue is going to give some as well.
Veeery tired today. Brain not working properly so luckily not too busy day at work. Tomorrow is the last day until the month end is going to hit us again. So only one more day to prepare but I should be ok and ready.
Still not sorted the computer to be able to download new office on it. And not have called about the child care. Tomorrow lunch break will go fetching the cat so it will be Thursday when I will dedicate my lunch break for finding something. I might need to send myself an email to my work address to get it done
Ex hasn't replied to my email I sent Monday week, got couple of texts today thou. Oh bother is he a pain in the backside? Also no Cafcass report in sight. It was supposed to be ready by 24th. Tomorrow must call the solicitor and get the ball rolling.
I think I am too tired for even cross stitching. I might go to bed now and see how long my eyes can stay open while reading. (It is not very MSE to have a K1ndle for me at the moment. I have this series of books that I stopped getting few years back and now I have been catching up reading the new ones on the K1ndle. They are really good reading thougood escapism that is... :rotfl:)

Feel rubbish today. Really tired. Don't know if I last to the end of the Apprentice.
Good news: Cat has arrived. She has periods of coming for a fuss and periods of hiding away. I hope she will settle soon.
Also good news I think I have solved my operating system problem and it will only cost me $89 and no need to transfer everything to the external drive. Must look at it tomorrow when hopefully less tired.
Bad news: due to it being so difficult of doing flexible hours at work I am not going to see my shrink anymore. And to be hones I don't think it really made any difference. I think I need to speak to the HR about the situation. Not the shrink situation, about the working hours situation.
Also I am worrying about something work related that might not even happen so I am trying to talk myself out of it and to stop being silly. It is all because my all insecurities. I know this is a bit cryptic but can't really go into more detail.
I have three major frogs for this week. Getting those three things done are crucial and most definitely would make the biggest difference. Chomping starts tomorrow after good night sleep..."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."
