Hi guys & gals
I'm just entering the data for FT trailers, can I just check if I have got this bit right? The ad for the Palm Pre mobile - is the advertiser O2 with Palm Pre as the product or is palm pre the avert with O2 as a separate logo?
I convince myself one way then the other. Thanks a million if someone can answer x
Hi owlet,
I put it in as o2 (advertiser) & PalmPre as the product.
hope that helps.

This is the link for the new MS company Helion. http://www.helionresearch.com/evaluator/shopper/signup. Go on everyone sign up as the guy that runs it is from another MS'ing company.. When he left he was kind enough to email us all to say goodbye and wished us luck.
What really impressed me about the sign up was the google map when you put your address in so presumably when you get an assignment the same will happen. Though I am now an official smarty pants as I got sat nav last month. Got the Garmin one (sp) and it will save me a fortune on speeding fines as it gives a warning when you exceed the speed limit.
Also I loved the way he said we won't be just numbers on a database. Now isn't that what we all complain about with companies like RE.
So obviously the more shoppers he signs up the better and we who have made the effort to join a forum are more serious about being professional.
Had a good giggle at the type of house you live in. Semi....cottage..etc then up came igloo. So he obviously has a sense of humour.
So go join.and help someone who cares about us as shoppers.Clique member no 1.:D0 -

I've been told to make my first assignment a simple one so which would you recommend to start with? Theres a mobile phone one which doesn't require a purchase but there is a lot to remember! can you record (on your mobile-without them knowing) what the staff member says or is that v illegal?! Probably very daft question-sorry!
Hi moneymabel,
It can help if you do a practice run in a couple of different shops first using a scenario from a job you have booked. You will then see what you have remembered and what you need to be aware of missing. It will give you confidence for the real thing too.
I also read the brief and questionnaire and write my own "idiot sheet" with just one or two words for each question (without all the bumpf).I can take this with me and complete it afterwards. I find that it a) makes the requirements sink in and b) it a lot easier to carry around in your bag than pages of printed material.
Also, get into the habit of "left right in out" (building etc to the left and right of your shop. Time in and out). If you do this everytime, regardless of whether it is required, you will find it becomes a habit and you will never forget. They are the easiest things to forget.
Best of luck, you will be absolutely fine, it is easy most of the time!!

He's a lovely guy; I've not shopped with his former company for ages as most of the others weren't up to his standard and it became too difficult at times. I never saw any question asking about house type though?0 -
Thatns Owlet thats brill-especially the idiot sheet! can type 2 or 3 words into my mobile on drafts instead, then pretend to be reading a text if I forget!
Thanks for that info Holly-will sign up for Helion later today, sounds like a good company.0
