Well done - lots of people on here have had to wait days to be approved. Mine was passed in less than 10 minutes!

I'm doing a job for them tomorrow and will have to order a glass of wine.....with my cooked breakfast! And they say you have to be inconspicuous

    Hi deedee,
Had same job this morning,& as its a scottish pub, won't sell alcohol with breakfas unless its after 11.00am, I looked like a complete A@@e this morning trying to do the same whilst looking inconspicuous, in the end she charged me for the drink but couldn't serve iy to me until 11.00am.
Phoned XX To point this out & they said if you can't buy a drink cos of licensing laws the thats okay just put it in report.
Hope this helps you, even if its only to change your time of going to venue.

    Regards
    me and ma boy

    Hi me and ma boy

Thanks for the heads up - I need to do this early as I've got assignments all day tomorrow so I'll send a wee mail and see if they are ok with me not buying it. I'll be looking forward to a glass of wine at the end of the day though ;)

Glad to see the end of this week. Despite having to take Monday off because of my broken car window I've managed 13 stamp shops, 4 petrol garages, a car showroom, a bank, a phone shop, an electrical shop, a sandwich shop and 4 chemists. A grand total of 26 jobs in the last 4 days.

Quite pleased and now hoping to have a rest after a few more stamp shops next week as not keen on the busy December shops.

Looks like I missed some good jobs on RE this afternoon while I was stood outside a fat head shop for 3 hours freezing to death and having people being rude to me . Never mind though, I met a very nice fellow MS'er while I was there , so not all bad :D.
  • Hi Squidge,

I didn't see any jobs in our area, unless they got taken.
There is still some fast food on gyp.
Oh no, I can't beleive people were rude. I would have come along to give you some support but did a stamp shop out of town at lunch time. Made the ladys day when she passed and I gave her the certificate. I was shaking too! Lol

    Hi Pennies,
Oh well, didn't miss much then. Got sacked by Gyp last month but would have to give the fast food a miss as I'm far too fat anyway :(.

Not everyone was rude, but probably about 50/60% were. I think it's the wrong time of the year to try stopping people. They're all in too much of a rush Xmas shopping. They said to try to get 40 to 60 completed surveys....I got 29!! And it wasn't for want of trying.

PMSL I've left these jobs alone so far cos I thought it just looks so obvious ordering alcohol before 12!

Awh squidgeum, if I'd known you were there, I would have dropped by to say "hi", i would've given you some good feedback for you.... put your feet up and think of payday ;)
