  • Heck no, you're one of us even if you have deferred. And i'll even let you off for moaning about Roy a few weeks back ;)
I'm still moaning about him even though we won on Saturday.

  • I'm doing a posh sandwich job for RE tomorrow. Early time frame and I have to check there is 1 breakfast baguette and at least 4 items in croissanterie.

But I am asked to buy a hot drink and a sandwich, salad or wrap. Now, being early I'd probably like something from the croissanterie like an almond croissant. Has anyone purchased one of these and got paid or MUST it be a sandwich?

    Hi TractorGirl,
When i had that job last month it had to be a sandwich not a croissant,:eek: had a bit of bother with my report as i couldn't see all the items in the croissanterie(as people were buying them & it was only the greaseproof sheets left that indicated the croissanterie had been full):mad::mad: they rang me & left numerous messages to contact them & then when i couldn't get them they took a point off me grrrrrrrrrrr:mad::mad::mad::mad: & surprisingly i had already answered it in my report :eek::eek::eek:

hope it works out better for you
  • I too received the sack from Gap today - they must be having a clear out. I've not cancelled or re-scheduled jobs for a long while but hey ho that's how it goes! The really annoying thing is that I did a burger job for them a while ago and they offered me petrol as compo but that's all been cancelled now!

    Hi Jediteacher,

Did you have a previous account with them? I thought I was sacked but it was my old account not my current one! Thanks to Kitchpoo on advising about duplicate accounts!

Has anyone else done the RE chemist jobs recently? It was the one where you had to buy some pain relief in a tube. The item that they said to buy was quite a bit more than the reimbursement (I only discovered this in the shop). Whilst I was visibly recoiling from this, the assistant suggested that I try the own brand version which was the same strength. As this was just about within the reimbursement I went along with this but have now got a proof reading query.

Just wondered what other people had done, if they also had the same problem with the price.

hmm, from what you said, and someone earlier saying they were asked for husband/wife to have different bank accounts, it sounds as if they are having a clamp-down on people with similar details being registered such as husband and wife. I suppose there is nothing to stop an unscrupulous person from singing up twice and pretending to be a spouse and maybe getting more jobs. If thats the case I can understand what they're doing.

So .. those that have been sacked .. have you got a spouse working for them as well?

I did this today, the 30g size they said to buy cost me £4.25 but the larger one was quite abit more than this I think. Your shop might have sold out of the small one. It said if that is the case to buy an alternative so if you know they didn't have the one for £4.25 you should be fine. But it does say they will check stock levels if you say they have sold out :(

The small one was more than a pound more than that, which is why I went for the other one. Will be v cross if they try to not pay me for this.

I did 9 chemists last week, 7 for ESA and 2 for RE. Wouldn't you know that it's the RE ones that I get queries on. And the fee was only half the ESA ones, makes me wish I had stuck to my no RE policy.

Well apart from the nice meal out we had last week and the fun casino visit this weekend. Hmmmm.

I received an e-mail from them about this the day before I did the shop saying that some people were getting confused and buying a product significantly higher priced and to make sure I brought the one in the blue packet. Was yours blue/turquoise?
  • Here it is....

    Dear shopper,

You currently have a XXXX Pharmacy assignment in your account. Please be aware that the (Brand name) product you are required to purchase is the Pharmacy only which is in a blue box.

Please do not purchase the one in the yellow box (Max strength) as this is more expensive and you will not be reimbursed more than £X.

If you are unsure of the product you are required to get, please re-read the job notes and view the image provided
