  • Don`t forget to do all the surveys on RE as there is a point for each one completed. It all adds up! Also makes up for any cancellations etc.

Part of the Furniture 10,000 Posts Combo Breaker Xmas Saver!
All the overtime at work finally dried so I thought I'd start seriously looking for MS jobs again this week. Didn't need to look very hard-had Retail Maxim offer me 4 visits (3 different companies) direct (and I haven't contacted them or done a job for them since the summer).
Suddenly I feel all motivated :)

In my account it shows up as being due to be paid with my next lot of money on 10/11/09 so I guess they got it sorted today. :)

Mines showing as all sorted too, but they haven't given me any points for it. Anyone else missing their points? Is it worth e-mailing them about it?

I didn't get any either. I mailed them and they apologised and added on 10 points. I didn't get any for completing the job on the day specified, but I'm not going to mail them for a second time just for 2 points.

Well in defence to GAP I have submitted two bad reports (one without a reciept) I had to wait 19 minutes for a chicken carry out so I dont think people are sacked for bad reports but it may because like some one said before if you cancel or move to many jobs you get the boot.

I submited a bad chicken report last month. Had to wait about the same length of time, plus there were dead flies in the restaurant but they didn't say a word about it. I think it might be the burger jobs they get upset about. Although having said that I had the audacity to say the fries were unsalted last month and it still wasn't questioned.

I think it depends on the company. I had a phone call querying a job yesterday asking "Are you sure that the MOS didn't give me a friendly welcome because the people working that day always give a friendly welcome". It took 15 mins to fill up with petrol, most of which was queuing on the forecourt and I got "you've put that you weren't happy with the total time, but there wasn't anyone in the shop queue in front of you!"
  • Failed the burger test by one question so I never got to do the burgers anyway. One job got cancelled as when I went to shop a petrol station it was fenced up as they are fitting new pumps. I told them I couldn't do the visit and they cancelled that from my account without an acknowledgement email back. So squidge and qwerty, don't do the garage at Diss as it's not there at the moment!!

Just wondered if this may be why GAP are having a cull. About 2 months ago I was advised about having the same phone number and bank account as another user (my wife), and that if it was not rectified soon then the result would be ceassation of work. My wife got fed up with the hassling phone calls (we had 7 one evening - 5 for the same job) - that she put my mobile and told them to deal with me for acceptance and stop the harrassment - and we paid in to our joint account. Now switched it all to how Gap want it and all is fine.

Might be worth just checking if you have 2 (or more) accounts - and your contact details are current and correct.

Guess where Gap phoned and asked me to go for an audit - and I went...... yup - petrol in Diss!!! - only a 45 mile round trip.

I have pics of the place shut if anyone does want to accept it and say they went ;)
