Surprise surprise, after submitting a bad report which was all true, I get an email today sacking me! AND, the email says I can't challenge their decision!!! What sort of shoddy company are they?! They look into other company's customer service practises but don't consider their own!!
I always defended them in the past but not anymore!!!
Thats ridiculous! I can't understand why the companies that use them bother to use MS's if they just want good reports. Gap might as well write them themselves if they only want good ones! I did a burger job last night and gave them a good write up but I had to wait 5 minutes for my meal (which I didn't mind as it meant they were making me a fresh one). They will so be checking and timing that! Don't know why I bother ordering legends, they always have to make them fresh so the times are too long!
On another note did my first really bad one for the discount designer shop, suprisingly for abai it does actually look bad on the report. I find their report style tends to make the store look better than they are.
Got to ring GR about my supermarket with the homemade receipt as I can't fill in any of the boxes! :mad:Mystery Shopping £1147/£2000 (Jan) :j
Bingo wins since Jan: £1320 :T0 -
Can anyone advise me on how to go about being a mystery shopper? If you look on the first few posts of this thread, you will see lots of information that should help you. Try signing up for a couple of companies to start off with and see how you get on. Good luck. :Tsharon1953 wrote: »Hi, new to this thread, never tried MS, so a real novice, is there a list of OK companies on the forum that I have missed?

I always defended them in the past but not anymore!!! Grrrr....
I always submitted my reports before the 8 hour deadline and always included a receipt so that can't be the reason why. The only thing I can think of is that I submitted a bad report or it's because I had 3 rescheduling/cancellations of assignments. One of those would not have happened if GAP answered their emails!!!
Grr!! I will miss their stamp shops though. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I did one of these yesterday, and yes most things are EXPENSIVE in their shops. Headphones can be picked up for between £10-£15, however I spotted a cute little bedside alarm clock/radio that will fit nicely on my daughters bedside shelf, so guess what she is getting in her christmas sack!!! It was £9.99 Thanks RE!! HTH :T
I was always put off doing one of these shops due to the expensive items in the store and I didn't think it was worth doing for the reimbursement. However, it's good to know I can pick up cheaper items so thanks for the heads up!0 -
Glad to see others are having issues with RE (in the nicest possible way!). Trying to read job notes for a job this evening and can't get on for love nor money.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I cannot even log on to RE at the moment, wondered if I had been sacked for a minute:rotfl:. Not that there would be any reason to sack me, but some companies don't seem to need a reason:rolleyes:
Are you having trouble just logging in??

Another thought/question about RE, has anyone else waiting for weeks and weeks for their 'health food slim' shop to be passed? Mine should have been paid to me at the end of the month but is still showing as pending weeks on?
