Mine has just arrived!! Ordered 36 hours ago.
Brand new. A bit chunky, compared with the latest generation, but hey - it's a 40gig I-Pod for less than the price of a 2 gig Nano!

No, not at all. Brand new. Had never been out of its original cellophane.

Obviously Apple getting rid of the last of its 4th generation stock.

The 40GBs have all gone, and the 20GBs aren't heavily discounted but the following URL will take you to the refurb store where you can keep checking to see if anymore arrive:

Mine's arrived too. It came in a refurb box, but it looks like the ipod itself is brand new. Everything is factory seadled. It's a lot smaller than I expected, but still quite heavy. It came with manuals, software cd, earphones, firewire cable, usb cable, ac adapter, and dock. I suspect this is goods that are returned unused but with damaged retail boxes. Who knows, and I don't really care! Cheers op
