Apple refurb store has been updated with Nanos now:

    1Gb : £92.65 with free del.

    4Gb : £152.15 with free del.

but at those prices you'd be better with a new model from Amazon. Maybe watch the Nano refurb prices drop very soon, discounted heavily like the other models :undecided

They also have a Refurb iPod 30GB White with Video for £186.14 but again over £10 more expensive than Amazon and would be in the brown refurb box instead of the regular packaging I expect.

It doesn't seem like Apple are trying to be competitive on price with the current models other than to be at a lower cost than their normal store prices. Hopefully if they see these aren't shifting the prices may drop a little.

I'm currently 'on hold' on the phone to Apple Customer Services. Have been on the phone for nearly half an hour  trying to get a USB cable which was missing from my order earlier this week.

I think I've been passed onto an Indian call centre. The guy took my phone number to call me back as he claimed he couldn't hear me...how then did he hear my phone number :undecided ? After asking for each of my details at least twice, he has said that Apple do not have stock of the cable and is trying to "fight your case" (sic) with another department!

After trying to chat to me about the weather - yes really!! - he has now confirmed with his "other department" that they will send a cable.

Phew! 34min 45sec phone call (and that's not including my initial call to Apple). Now I'm late for work :o .

Wow - my experience is so different to yours.

Ordered two mini ipods at 11.31am yesterday and they arrived this morning at 08.45am - now that is quick!

Also, followed some advice from an earlier thread and told CS I was expecting to get a cover with my mini ipod (one ordered last week) and they sent me a £20 pack FOC.

    I'm well impressed with Apple.

If the cable doesn't come, rather than suffer more stress, you may like to know that my local Poundland has iPod USB cables in...so your local one may do too...it won't be Apple but it'll do the job!
