Well if you look at the GMTV video it was ML that said it was OK to do "outright thievery" by printing the vouchers from the GMTV site and taking them to the supermarket but not to use the self scanners.

Sigh, is your argument "But someone on the magic box said it was ok"? or did you accidentally click submit before you were finished?

You can`t have it both ways.
If it`s "outright thievery" (your words) then ML condoned it.
The only thing I accidently clicked was the thanks button for you.

My apologies I think I misinterpreted you and was wrong to throw a hissy fit in my reply regardless!

I`m not posting again on this thread because what`s happened has happened and we should all move on.

Hopefully,in the near future Tesco will relent or at least "ease" their current policy.

i have to sya to all those that are soley blaming martin lewis for this need to get a life and excuse me being blunt sod off

if anyones to blame we all are tescos the press us as consumers yes we all know there was a loophole and it looks like unfortunatley on the first of october was widely abused and i could totatly understand tescos move after that

martin gave out information which he believed could help save us some money he didnt tell us to take pedigree chum vouchers and by an xbox or a tele with it and those clowns that did should be prosecuted because that is gaining products by deception

[I'm not going to come back on all of this: but on this one point I must beg to differ having spent quite a time last night going through the couponers guidlines for printing them off!

It clearly states there that you can get a second print of coupons in some cases if you answer "no" when asked if the coupon has printed correctly:D and thus this must have been done by seasoned couponers or they would not have known about it. Now, it also states that if you have access to more than one computer then you can also print off extra ones! This hardly equates to the same thing as you are saying on here - although I grant you that Tesco will not have lost out since they all had different ID's (I assume:confused:). That still is not what the manufacturer who issued them intended and thus once it became widespread these manufacturers were not going to sit back and keep sucking it up!
moggylover, didn't mean to mislead you, yep above correct,.....and by following the above, it gave LEGIT coupons, so you assumed right.:D people do sometimes buy the product also.:D especially ones for animals.

Have to point out that anything obtained by lying (i.e. saying no when asked if the first coupon has printed correctly, when it has) can hardly be desdribed as "legit". It has been aquired under false pretences the moment you press "no" dishonestly. Perhaps it just doesn't "feel" dishonest when you are talking to a machine, but I don't see it as any different to saying (for instance) that a parcel ordered through ebay has not arrived when it has. We obviously have different dictionaries when it comes to word "legit".

Now, I am sure that someone is bound to cry "oooooooh slander" again, but it will not make the dishonesty necessary to carry out the above action any less real.:D

By the way, it was this action that I was suggesting Princess Coupon must have taken in the past since it was something I found out by reading HER guildelines section. How it can be "slander" when I ask her if she has done something that she actually explains to people how to do I really do not know!

My God! I thought I had seen some nasty pieces of work on MSE before but you "Couponers" really take the biscuit!

You had a nice little earner for quite a while, talk about spiteful little tantrums when it finally ends! Course, it is all Martins fault for sharing the details with others not keeping it just to your exclusive little club - couldn't possibly be because there are those who have massively abused the system for ages could it;).

How about just saying "thank you" to Tescos for all the years they have allowed you to abuse the manufacturers, and just sucking up the dissapointment:D.

My mother always taught me that good things always have to come to an end - perhaps we need to teach that more nowadays!!!!

This thread has reminded me totally of the sickening advert for the mobile phone on TV, the one that goes on and on about demanding more and not being patient, etc, etc. Totally epitomises ALL that is wrong with our society in general: as do the uncalled for and self-ridden comments on this thread!

    Well said! :T:T:T:T:T:T

I'm shocked by the mentality of some posters. You had a good thing - some abused it - Tesco pulled the plug, as they are entilted to do so. And it's all ML's fault? Get away. Get real. Get a life!
