I wouldn't have stood for a gift card either. I don't see what on earth it has to do with you using coupons anyway. It's a simple matter of you being overcharged for a product and you should be refunded in the manner that you paid, and you should get double the difference as well I believe. I could understand them offering you a gift card if it was a case of you having bought a product using coupons (not an overcharge) and then later bringing the product back for a refund having changed your mind, because some stores do get a lot of this happening - people trying to get cash back after using coupons. But this is not the case at all in this instance.
I would either write a letter to the customer services manager or Terry Leahy - probably would go for the 1st one, cos all though not directly coupon related it would be bringing coupons to Terry's attention again. If you get nowhere with customer services then you still have the option to go higher and contact Terry. Ring Customer Services and get the name of the Manager and address the letter to him/her personally. Good luck with whatever you decide.0 -

I think I'm going mad! After losing loads of data (and more importantly PDF coupons) when my PC died (not Princess Coupon I hasten to add!!) I cannot find the cow and gate dairy dessert 50p link. I don't see it on the front page. Did it get removed for some reason that I don't know or don't remember or is it lurking somewhere else? Any pointers? Thanks for help already received Blue and Gill!0

Hello everyone
I had an amazing shop today, it came to £20.55 and I gave the young male cashier my pile of coupons. He ploughed through them all to the surprise of the couple stood, mouths opened behind me. I then had my one of my Farmfood vouchers ready and enquired if he could take it, he took the coupon put it through and to both our amazement the total to be paid came to £0.00. Although this was coincidental as I always aim to pay a small amount , I am quite chuffed as I got two new cushions for our sitting room, a vienetta and some frozen stuff all for free.2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494

Well done. :T
I once got given a few pence in change by a nice cashier, when my coupons exceeded the total...I didn't mean to do it though! And it cannot happen normally, with most coupons the till will beep if your last coupon is 'too high'.
But what I realised afterwards was that my last coupon that day was a non-scan coupon (just as yours was today). The cashier had entered it as NS £2.50 and the till read it as equivalent to cash I believe, and coughed up change! I expect that's why they got rid of the non-scan button...?!:D
I meant to post about this last week, but I got some coupons last weekend at an Airshow. Anyone thinking of going to your local Airshow this Summer, look out for Alpro Soya and Anchor Squirty Cream stalls. There are mocs there, Anchor were guarding them but Alpro were not! It more than paid for our expenses for the whole day out.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

If it's a non-perishable item you should still be able to return it tomorrow. Either to that store or to any other Tesco store that stocks the item.
Isn't it all getting a bit complicated, why all the phone calls, I don't really see why you would have phoned anyone at all? Did you phone Dundee or the store?
Just take the item back and ask for a refund tomorrow or next week, as you thought it was less than £13.50. Don't mention the previous trouting, nor the coupons - chances are you'll get a different member of staff. If you thought it was £3.50 due to their pricing, then firstly ask them to check the SEL (and collect double the difference if it was priced wrong - I am not sure form your post whether you mean the SEL was wrong though...).
If they mention the coupons just say 'yes, but the coupons were all authorised & OK - and in any case I paid most of it on my debit card'. Then hand over said debit card.
No need to phone anyone about it. No need for coupons to be an issue with a refund like this. All you need is a less-fussy CS person IMHO.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
