On the contrary I have read the thread and countless others on the same subject . It all boils down to greed not want . By using coupons for goods not bought you are putting peoples jobs at risk , but hey as long as you all have your cupboards stuffed full why worry:rolleyes:Vuja De - the feeling you'll be here later0 -
Tescoisace - I find your quoting style impossible to work out what is new and what is old. I am sure you make some good points but I can't decipher the wood from the trees the way you do it (three colours/styles all mixed together). Not being funny but it might be something to consider. The normal quote method does at least separate the blocks of text so we can see which is which. Maybe state at the begining 'new comments in red bold/blue bold/red standard' but still hard work! Sorry!0

So I am assuming that you too feel Martin was completely irresponsible spreading the word too then? :T
At least we agree on something!0 -

As opposed to everyone spreading the word on here ? how many people do you think had read the threads , and then include the bots .
You think he was irresponsible because he let your ''little secret '' out , not quite the same view as i haveVuja De - the feeling you'll be here later0 -

Post the GMTV programme we now all know what has happened - it hit the fan big time. Coincidence or what? I think not. Still amused?
What get out are you going to come up with next, I wonder.
Just had to make your text smaller, oops it went to small
Seriously now, everyone has their own personal beliefs whether Martin was to blame or not.
Not seen many different people post this, so will take it at face value as being correct.
'Recent media articles informing customers that internet and supplier coupons can be redeemed in large quantities at tesco even if they have not bought the product has led to us making the decision to only accept coupons for products purchased by the customers. This also complies with the terms and conditions written on each coupon'
Martin did not say anything about large quantities - the papers showed the evidence of what had happened in certain stores. Once the papers mentioned the amounts of abuse (carrier bags full of coupons etc) Tesco were in a corner. Now if the press had kept that story quiet, there would have been a greater chance of Tesco putting some limits in place but to a lesser extent than they actually did.0 -
