    Sorry to hear your news Hiphouse - whether expected or otherwise it doesn't lessen the impact does it.

    Well, Tesco has just delivered, and it came to £25 less than my checkout total, and no substitutions, so my BOGOF buying did what I needed it to do :D

    With some careful planning we should be ok for next week for everything but milk, bread and fresh fruit/veg.....so I am pretty pleased with myself.

    My new "housekeeping" routine is working well - and the beauty of it is that I am only a few days from our next "payday" :D

    All down to good meal planning - mind you, it took me twice as long to do the online shop this time, while I made sure I was getting the best value for money on things I would genuinely need.......but it looks like it has paid off, so I'm happy with it!

    Sounds good hypno - think how much bingo you'd have to play to make £25! I find the fri-fri thing works well for me although I only do this for food and keep petrol, entertainment and everything else in a monthly budget.
