  • Just popping in to see how you are doing and it looks as good as ever :j.

I think food shopping is so easy to overspend on so spending a bit of extra time is great. I love online because of the total it gives me. I never remember to add things up in the shop.

Luckily for us - our Sainsburys has a Fast Track where you have your own handset to swipe your items as you go round the store. We just put the things in our own bags as we go round and then go to either the dedicated till - really quick or any till that looks quieter.
Saves me loads of time - at least half hour - and it totals everything on the handset as you go so can keep in budget. Hate going to other supermarkets now.

That sounds good, angela - does it account for you putting things back on the shelf if you change your mind or go over budget?

  • Yes there is a minus button on there and you just scan again and it removes the item(s) for you.

When I was rich, I used to use one of those scanners in Waitrose

Benben - how did you resolve the thing of winning £2.50 and having £3 of bonus money still to use?

bingobritain is one of the few that will let you withdraw your "real" balance, but will leave your bonus balance in there still to use :D

so win, withdraw, then carry on playing - if you win again, you reverse cashin but have to wait 24 hours before withdrawing again. By then another £5 is there in bonus for you to play with, but because you don't forfeit it when you withdraw, it will still be available to you.....

I'm sure they'll close the loophole at some point so that you forfeit any remaining bonus if you withdraw real money, but for the time being it is working in our favour!

I deposited £20, withdrew £22 and it left the £3 bonus still in the account. I played it but lost, no problem, 2 days in and only £3 to claw back before I'm in profit :D

Only because I happen to be up, and have a small window of opportunity available to me......

There are smaller prizes but fewer players then - doesn't necessarily work in our favour......OH got £2 free money from King and played through - there were only two players, him and one other.....one line, two lines, full house.......all went to the other player. He didn't even get the hot seat 50p :rotfl:
