er hypno are you sure you dont live in my house??
Plans for today are lots of running around, school ,football, interspersed with [STRIKE]decluttering[/STRIKE]chasing baby and coffee drinking. I need to do a supermarket shop, and get some food in the house. Old Mother Hubbard would feel at home here right now, and we are playing "pot luck" with containers of leftovers in the freezer.....potluck, because you can't always tell whether it is spag bol, [STRIKE]chili[/STRIKE]lazagnue, or just gravy, until it has fully defrosted :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
WAS DEBT FREE & STILL BAAARRRRRKING
hello my name is shaun,,,and im not so addicted to farmville, still addicted to football:o:o

Jeez - dont you lot own a pen to label your freezer contents - get yourselves over to Oldsyleee - we'll have you sorted :rotfl:or perhaps you secretly like the dinner lottery.:D0

Too true!
I do try and label things but like most areas of my life, I am just not that organised in reality!
I should at least get an old style silver star for putting my leftovers in the freezer in the first place, though!!
£10 scratchcard winnings hit my account today, so have been paid to the Virgin card. this is the debt that I want rid of next -it is only 0% now but if it doesn't get cleared by the end of May, it will jump to a silly rate, which I need to avoid, so my aim is to be rid of it by Christmas. Currently, it stands at about £3600.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. What a splendid opening post and what an incredible three years of debt busting and inspiring the rest of us (and by the way I can't pronounce my name either).
What i find really amazing is that you've achieved so much AND written 20,000+posts on here too! How do you fit it in?!
I'm looking forward to seeing you go under 20k really soon, then down to 0 in the not very distant future. I am envious and humbled and would suggest a race to clear the next card but I know I haven't a hope!Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -

Oh ok will let you off
Hypno you are right - brownie points for freezing leftovers very much allowed. Thinking about it though us MSErs have to get our excitement in cheap & wonderful ways so waiting all day for your dinner to defrost so you know what you've got adds a little spice I guess. Bummer though if you've defrosted a pudding.0 -
Seaxwyn - I devote the time I would otherwise be spending doing housework, to the cause of MSE........it was a tough decision, but one that had to be made
And if you want to set a challenge.............:D
Essex-girl - to be honest, I would be more than happy if I defrosted a pud instead of somthing mince-basedSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Shiny new diary! I should have known, when I looked at the timing on the last post of yesterday's diary, and it was 6.28 or something - no chance that your diary isn't posted on from then to now!
Congratulations! on the journey back to debt freedom!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
And if you want to set a challenge.............:D
Well it's certainly tempting, especially as my no 1 target card is currently at £3,770, so not so different from yours. But I know you would wipe the floor with me. Do you remember when we had a race to 35k? I beat you and, well, look at the progress I've made since then...Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
So, Seaxwyn, you have a track record of beating me - and if you can do it once, you can do it again!
Even if it only pushes you to clear half of it, that will be well worth doing!
