Evening Hypno - love the new diary!
DD is off to Uni tomorrow so has gone out tonight !!!!! with a friend who is going to Oxford next week!
House looks a tip but most of it will be gone tomorrow!
Have decided to bite bullet and re-do kitchen after Christmas - ours is the original that was put in in 1977 and is certainly well past its sell by date!
Anyway -- am supposed to be looking up books for DS ( not sure why!)

Sounds like chaos at your end - still, later in the weekend you can get some form of "normal" into your lives again!
We redid our kitchen shortly after we moved in, about 6 years ago - all except for the little bit of tiling around the window, and painting the windowsill......they have been on my "to do" lists ever since! Stupid really, because I tiled the rest of the room quite happily, and I only need to do about 12 more tiles to finish it all off.......
So, therein lies my challenge for October - to finish the kitchen! Along with the continued decluttering of the house in general.....and the continued tackling of the ironing pile.......and......and........:rolleyes:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Get those tiles out Hypno - you know you can do it - maybe once you have done it you could pretend they are your coloured squares grid and paint each one a different colour as a reward :rolleyes::j
