Oh yes, DS will do the 14 year old boy version of cleaning and tidying......then I will go in and do the Mum's version.

Actually, I have a meeting at the school at 7pm re the trip to China, so I won't have much time to do flylady today......shame.......:o

Happy birthday surfbabe - hope you have a good one xxxx

The trip to China must be getting close now. Bet DD is excited - these kids get far more opportunity to travel than I ever did (nearly put we - but realised I'm much older than lots on here lol) - good luck to them too.

You are a brave lady - tackling a teenage bedroom mid-week. I used to have an occasional trip in to see what scientific experiments were happening in the bottom of various mugs - usually when kitchen cupboard was empty of crockery - green mould and the like growing and taking on a new life-form. Could only tackle it weekends though lol!!

    Happy Birthday Surfbabe - it's my dd's birthday too - she's 28 - HOW did THAT happen?

Having a cuppa then off to put away some ironing (been in a pile over a week now). Might even get round to tidying my bedroom.

Definitely a whole different set of feelings to the ones I previously had - I think I would have ended up in a crumpled heap had things continued the way they were - hurrah for this site!

Shall we open a book on how many draft versions there are before you end up writing something completely different on the day?!

Middle of next week  I reckon she will contract swine flu on about Monday.........

We have a new "White Stuff" shop opened just down the road from my office. It is going to be my new daily challenge - can I get through the day without buying anything from there. These things are sent to try me, I am sure

hypno - DS's bedroom- I tackle it with bin and charity bags a couple of times a year. The rest of the time I just shout at him to do it with varying success - and when the cupboards are empty of crockery go and nick it back from his room and put it in the dishwasher.
